With just a couple clicks, you could go to the North Park website - http://athletics.northpark.edu/index.aspx?path=mbball&tab=basketball

Every North Park home game -- women, varsity men, and JV men -- has video. As Bob said, all you need to do is click on the NPU website, and you can find the video connections through the pertinent dropdown menus. In addition, the links to all CCIW game media -- not just North Park's -- are available on the CCIW website.

(Don't ask me why, but d3hoops.com does not have video or live stats links to any of today's CCIW games on the front-page scoreboard.)

The estimable Rob Berki and yours truly will be on the call as usual for tonight's men's game ("All the facts, and twice the banter" is our credo). I also do the PBP for the women's team, with Erica Newman doing color commentary, so I'm on double duty tonight. I do the men's JV games solo.

Thanks Greg.  I'll be watching, listening from Hong Kong.  Thanks for the info on the links.  They were not on the IWU site either.

Go TITANS!

Augie goes down at WC in OT.

IWU over NPU in a ugly game with no flow. IWU 74-57 @NPU.

Zman 16
Davis a double/double 13 and 10
Sodemann 12
Marietti a strong game with 10 and 20 minutes, perhaps his best game as a varsity player.

Dortch got the start, so seems Anderson's role is declining, bench players rising, esp. against smaller, quick teams.

I was impressed with Henry and Weaver on NPU.  NPU will be very good in seasons to come if they can get their overall team play improved.

A game with 51 fouls, 5-6 players fouling out, tons of FTs, no flow and lousy FT shooting by both teams.  If this is what is to be a more beautiful, free-flowing game due to the new rules, then it has failed completely.

Titans now 12-2, 2-1.  Big game upcoming at home then vs. WC.   Good someone put a L on Augie.

Much much more basketball to be played.

Greg and Rob, thanks for the call.  I enjoyed it and your friendly humorous banter.  Shall we shoot some more free throws?  :)

We rely on others to help with these items and not always are we able to catch the missing ones... especially video and live stat links since we don't know if they will be available or not on a game by game basis (don't want to assume). Sorry it wasn't there... we will keep a better eye out to see if we see these missing in the future.

The IWU/North Park game was an ugly one...the Titans certainly didn't look good.  But I suppose a road win is a road win.

IWU completes the 4-game road start to the CCIW schedule Wednesday in Decatur.

A big win for the Thunder.  Augustana is much improved, and Coach G has a group that plays hard all game.

Hopefully creates some confidence and momentum for Wheaton going into a tough road week.

Pat Coleman

Yeah -- schools have the ability to add links. We add them when we can, just haven't gotten them all.

Wheaton 66
Augustana 63    OT

Tyler Peters 16 pts, 5 assists, 5-13 from the field, 8-18 from the FT line
Teuscher 16 pts 5 rebs
Peter Smith 16 pts 8 rebounds

Hill 12 pts
Ben Ryan 11 pts
Hoepfner 10 pts

This really is a great league. A fun game for fans to watch last night as the Thunder pulled out a huge win over Augie at home.  It's a good sign that Tyler Peter's didn't play particularly well but Wheaton still managed to win. That's because Teusche and Smith stepped up huge. Key part of the game I thought was TP sat down with his 3rd foul at the 14:36 mark of the 2nd half. Wheaton led by 1. When he returned at the 11:00 min mark Wheaton led by 9. Teuscher scored 5 pts and Berg hit a 3, all while the Thunder held Augie scoreless over that stretch.

Some great defense played by both teams. Augie turned it over 22 times and Wheaton 17. Tavian Johnson really gave the Thunder problems with his lenght and quickness. He was the reason, after Wheaton led by 11 with 7:15 to play, Augie climed back into the game. Hill had very few good looks until the end of the game when he hit 2 triples and Roth hit 1 to get the game into OT. Hill missed a wide open 3 that would have given Augie the lead with 10 seconds left in OT and Peters hit 1 of 2 FT to ice it. Roth's buzzer beater 3 for the tie was an airball and hotly contested.

For the record, Coach G's blazer was removed, with aggression, at the 8:36 mark of the first half.

Big win for Wheaton in a tough stretch that has them in Kenosha Wednesday night and down in Bloomington Saturday. I was worried about an 0-3 record over that stretch so getting a big win against a great Augie team is a bonus.

Latest on Aaron Walton-Moss: Last night, he didn't start but in 31 minutes had 31 points, 18 RBs, 4 assists, 3 steals and 2 blocked shots. Admittedly, Cabrini played a nobody, but stats like these likely puts him in great position to be D3 player of the year.
IWU/NPU game was hard to watch at times. Ziemnik hit 2 very long 3s with about 7 minutes left to give IWU a 12-point lead and breathing room. My take on NCC: Guess Jack Burchett had his career game against IWU in the D3 tournament last year. He had 4 points and 7 RBs in 26 minutes at Carthage. Charlie Rosenberg-Where are you when NCC needs you? Malcom Kelly, welcome back! All he did as a nonstarter was score 42% of Carthage's 65 and hit 5/7 3s. No Carthage starter reached double digits and they still won comfortably

Also sorry to hear about the death of Coach G's father.  It hurts to lose a parent, no matter the circumstances.  Praying for peace and blessings to G and his family.
