I'm having trouble remembering who does wheaton play on Wed. night?  And does it have any effect on what will happen in the conf tourney?
Thanks

Wheaton plays Carthage and no... it has no relevance to the conference tourney.

...unfortunately.

Hiker,

See how well you phrased that?  And how mellow you must have sounded saying it?  Must have had a good role model somewhere in life, especially during your formative years in college. ::)

lol... grabs Joe's hand to make him stop patting himself on the back  ;)

Though there is still one game left, I would like to give my sincere congratulations to Augie for winning the CCIW title. It sure has been an interesting season!  :o

Joe's boys made the front page at the same time he's patting himself on the back.  Forget his hand, watch out so that huge noggin doesn't hit the door jam on the way out of the office today.

having seen all these teams play, here is an unbiased opinion of how these teams rank:

1. (12) Ill Wesleyan
2. (2) Hope
3. (9) Augie or (19) North Central
5. (28) Elmhurst
6. (1) Lawrence
7. (15) Carroll
8. (13) Calvin

Although it will happen, it is a shame to see any less than 4 CCIW teams in the National Tourney.

Very entertaining game going on for the ODAC championship. VA Wesleyan and Randolph-Macon tied 40-40 at halftime.

Thanks for the link, Dan.  It's a great video feed.

That ODAC game is very interesting.  CCIW fans should be rooting for Va Wesleyan.  If they lose, they're probably a shoo-in for a Pool C.

...although Randolph-Macon looks pretty good for a C even if they lose.

Penn Atlantic will provide live video streaming of the 3 CCIW tournament games...

http://www.cciw.org/winter_bball_m/Penn_Atlantic_2.php

I will do play-by-play for the Elmhurst/North Central contest.  Wanted -- a color commentator.  The gig pays $50.  If interested, please e-mail me ASAP at bobquill@aol.com.

For the IWU/Augustana game, they will take the WJBC audio with Jim Williams on play-by-play and me on color.  If IWU is in the title game we will have the same crew.  If not, I will do the play-by-play Saturday night and need a color analyst...again, please e-mail if interested.

Thanks.

Two sets of conference calls, one regional committee call, then the next day a national call.

Followed immediately by days worth of posts wondering what they were doing in said, conference calls, regional committee call and especially national call.  ;D
