Benedictine dropped the "Illinois" part of its name 18 years ago. Is Giovanine aware of this, and just tweeting that in order to needle Keith Bunkenburg for some reason?

Then again, it might've been an honest mistake on the Augie coach's part. Heck, I still run into Chicagoans every now and then who refer to UIC as "Circle."

Was BU ever IBU? I only ever remember them as IBC.... Not sure when they switched from a college to a university.

Also not sure when they switched from St. Procopius  to IBC.... Sometime between when my dad went there and my memory begins.....

Congrats to Augie on beating Bradley.  Great job for CCIW and D3.  Love the Coach G quotes.  Not sure about beating 150 D1 teams, but Coach G is Coach G.  I'm sure the jackets will be flying again soon this year.
