IWU's Jordan Nelson has a broken finger on his shooting (right) hand.  He has passed on surgery to play through it.   

Any idea how it happened?

He flashed some "3 goggles" and AndOne came out of the stands and broke his finger.

A CCIW player (not an NPU player, BTW) once took the floor for the pregame layup line with a splinted and taped index finger, and a veteran CCIW ref who shall remain nameless who was working the game asked him, "Did somebody punch you in the nose?"

Nope. If all he did was the "3 goggles" rather than some of his other gestures, I'd be happy.

Broken finger or no, Nelson hit several long treys in the first half in Kenosah, and about every other TITAN did too.

North Park with their 2nd big upset in a week as they defeat the Augustana Vikings by a 76-69 final score. Greg will be in fine form. He was in fine form at the mike tonight.

IWU holds off Carthage, 77-65.  Threes got the win; FTs could have cost them a loss in a closer game.  Until they made 4 straight in the final minute, they were a truly atrocious 4-11 for the game.
