All 3 CCIW teams are losing well into the second half of their games. All are still close, but all 3 teams are struggling. IWU is the only team with a good excuse for struggling. Augie's offense has been terrible tonight. The bye may not have been a good thing, as the Vikings are really flat so far. Still time for all 3 teams to pull out victories though.

Lost the feed from SP.  Seems Titans down 7 with about 10 to go.

I lost the live stream from Stevens Point too, so I am watching Elmhurst-Northwestern.

I agree with the play by play announcer, Elmhurst looks like a team that played a three overtime thriller that ended at 10:30 pm last night.  Northwestern leads by 16 with 8 minutes left.

I'm listening the the IWU/UWSP game through the TuneIn app on my phone for the local radio feed: WPCN - News Talk 1010 out of Stevens Point

As I said, depth is not the be-all and end-all of basketball. The Pointers played basically a six-man rotation, and they made it work. Very methodical and effective effort by UWSP -- only five turnovers all night.

Congrats to Wesleyan on a nice season.

Totally agree here.  Northwestern beating 'Jays to loose balls, beating them on offensive glass, EC shots all woefully short- no legs left.  Having said that the 'Jays are fighting back only down 7 with 3:20 left.

Congrats to Point on Sweet Sixteen.  An excellent team, likely to go much deeper.  Good season for the Titans, congrats to Coach Rose and all the Titans.  Wish we could have played better in the second half, but a lot of that due to Point and how solid they are all 'round.  Hard to get down early and come back against a team like that.  Depth can't really help much when they play so well and stay out of foul trouble.

Congrats to the IWU seniors -- Overstreet, Sodemann, Nelson and Heyen.  All best in future endeavors, after graduation.  Great to watch you guys play these last few years.  Thanks for all your dedication to IWU and the Titan program.

You need to be watching both . . . EC not going away.

Augie 68
DePauw 66

DePauw had the final shot with the game tied at 66, but Jawon Straughter made a huge steal with about six seconds remaining and was fouled in the open court. He made both free throws, and Luke Lattner's lunging layup attempt at the buzzer got caught in the crotch of the basket.
