Cardinal stats

Erwin 🏋🏾 Henry -- 24 points and 13 rebounds!!
Alex Sorenson -- 24 points and 10 rebounds!
Aiden Chang -- 18 points. BIG three to force OT.
Jagger Anderson -- 18 points. BIG three to force 2nd OT.
Jack Bronec -- 6 rebounds in 10 mins.

Developing freshmen Nick Chambers (last 4 games in double figures),  & Matt Cappelletti (last 2 in double figures), had only 3 and 5 points respectively today. However, Nick had 5 assists vs. 2 TOs, and Matt also had 5 assists vs. only 1 TO.

NCC dominated the inside, winning the board battle 48-34, and out scoring previously 9-1, #19 Warburg 42-34 in the paint.
They had 18 second chance points vs 7 for Wartburg.

Not a bad effort with Connor Raridon cheering from the bench.
Any complaints about that #20 ranking now? LOL  :)

According to the box score PBP, Wartburg missed a trey attempt in the final second of the second OT that would've sent the game into a third extra session.

That must've been some game to watch. (But I still wouldn't have paid $8.95 for it.)

Apparently, as time was expiring, NCC's Aiden Chang hit a three to sent the game to OT tied at 69.

Now we know why Ken Massey's HAL 9000 moved the score prediction down from 74-73 to 73-72 earlier today. ;)

Very nice win for NCC.  Unfortunately something came up and didn't get a chance to watch. I guess Erwin continues to be the man.  Talking about stepping up.  From just an eye test standpoint, how did Wartburg look?

Although Augies record is respectable, They haven't been able to beat any good ranked teams when they've had the chance. And a couple of those chances were at Carver.

I wish I knew what was going on with NCC. Those wins over teams like Illinois Wesleyan and decent Aurora/Benedictine teams are the only thing keeping the Cardinals in the rankings. Those losses, all at home, where they've looked awful kind of scream that they're a team that doesn't belong in the Top 25. Of course, we've got the mitigating factor of Connor Raridon being out, but it's still alarming.

Correct me if I am wrong but, Connor played in all of the losses...

The first two, yes.  The third one, no.

Carthage took down LaVerne on the home floor of the Leopards, 80-73. The Red Men jumped out to an early 18-point lead, and had the margin as big as 14 in the second half. However, LaVerne made it close down the stretch, closing to within a point in the last two minutes before Carthage closed it out at the FT line. Senior forward Mike Stevenson, who has dramatically upped his game this season, had 34 points and 9 rebounds to lead the way, while Jordan Thomas scored 15 on 5-7 shooting from downtown. Kienen Baltimore came off the bench to pull down eight boards for the Red Men.

Surprising and interesting score from Oshkosh. Titans laying it on St Norbert at half 42-20.

Looks like IWU putting a pretty good beat down on Chicago, at the Shirk.

Hard to follow exactly with only LiveStats tonight.
