Elmhurst's 2019/20 roster has been released.

A lot of the newcomers have been commented on here already. I am most interested to see who will receive the most minutes down low for EC, after the graduation of starters Ireland and Marakis. I also am interested to see how veterans Ryan Patton and Lavon Thomas will figure into the rotation this year. Both put up some promising numbers as young players two years ago, but did not get much playing time last season.

Lastly...interesting to see two more Greek players for Elmhurst; Jordanis Bakirtzidis and Nikola Koute. After the graduation of Marakis, it looks as if Elmhurst is now the CCIW's "Greek Team", just like Carthage is the "Serbian Team" and North Park is the "Scandinavian Team".

Hmm, kinda I guess  . . .

That's a nice boutonnière that Mike is wearing in that Wheaton preview picture.

He's easily the most dapper coach in the league.

It is surely too early to start this, but Coach Grey give him a run for his money for the first 10-15 minutes of every game...

There are a few Augustana fans that are quick to smite, but I was serious when I said that Coach Grey dresses well. #compliment

And someone deleted their post asking, "why only the 1st 10-15 minutes...?"

I'm guessing your post was a joke referencing to Coach Grey taking off his sport jacket by then.

No way. That mock turtleneck of Grey's screams, "I'm going for comfort over fashion! Just try and stop me!"

Mike Schauer's not a jacket-yanker, but he's very nearly as animated on the sidelines as Grey Giovanine is. Mike must get in a good two miles per game with his speed-walk pacing back and forth, sometimes all the way to the King Arena northwest exit and back if he's particularly upset. And yet he's still dressing like he's on his way to his corner office on the 23rd floor at Monroe and Dearborn.

No mention Of NCC's Shea Cupples? Thought this was your #1 team Q?

NCC RECRUIT

The North Central Cardinals are proud to have landed IBCA Class 4A Special Mention, All-State 6'1" PG Shea Cupples out of Normal West HS.
For the past season Shea averaged 16.6 PPG, 3.8 APG, 3.4 RPG, and 2.2 SPG. He also shot 87.7% from the line.
Normal West's all time 3 point shot leader, both for a single season and for a career, he hit 84 three pointers during the 2018-2019 season.
Cupples has been selected to participate in this summer's IBCA All-Star game.

A significant get for the Cards.

There you go. Post regarding Shea from 4/11.

No comments?   re: NCC #3 in the pre-season poll.  I figured top ten-ish but glad to see they're getting even more respect.

Augie # 17 and a third CCIW team ORV 45 votes?  Some sympathy votes maybe?
