I'm really looking forward to this one  -- IWU @NCC.

Yoder has played very well the last 3-4 games, and in conference play to date.

Tough to keep Raridon in check.

Should we compare and contrast this to the Riley Lewis departure in Holland?  :P ;D ;)

Titans never really in this one, NCC 82 IWU 69.  Titans playing, shooting it poorly up at NCC.  NCC is very very good.

Millikin 69
North Park 64

Toby Marek: 22 pts
Darion Binion: 10 pts
Matt Szuba: 9 rebs
Karl Polk, Jr. 8 rebs
Izaiah Sanders: 3 stls

Calvin Fisher: 17 pts, 7 rebs, 5 blks, 3:1 a:to
Jake Hampton: 13 pts
Cole Laurence: 11 pts
Zach Fisher: 10 pts
Korbin Farmer: 6 rebs

The Vikings scored the game's first 12 points ... but then they promptly gave back the advantage as Millikin responded with a seven-point run of its own. Nevertheless, NPU did lead for most of the game. But the Vikings faded down the stretch, as they were unable to manufacture good shots within the shortened shot clock that they have used as a matter of course all season and the Big Blue defense stiffened down the stretch.

I think this was the best game I've seen North Central play in person so far this year. Excellent defense on the whole (would've been nice to keep their foot on the gas late rather than watch a 20 point lead shrink to eight). More importantly, I was talking with someone pregame about needing some offense besides Connor, and then it happened. Cappelletti had a really nice game, Will Clausel hit some big shots, and Matt Helwig inherited the Titan Killer mantle from Tommy Koth.

It was kind of jarring to see Connor go scoreless in the first half, but the Titans did a good job hounding him and making his teammates beat them, which unfortunately for the folks in green... they did (though Connor still had 3 rebounds and 6 assists at the intermission.)

Elmhurst played pretty well and got their first win over Augustana in 4 years. After committing 23 turnovers at Carroll over the weekend, Elmhurst played a more disciplined game and were back to a positive assist to turnover ratio, while forcing Augie into 19 turnovers and a negative ratio. Rhode and Doltich combined for 41, Thomas was held to 8 points and 6 rebounds as he was in foul trouble for the entire game. Very nice game yesterday off the bench for EC's Dominic Genco - 11 points, 4 assists (0 turnovers) and 5 rebounds, he has been heating up off the bench lately and Baines has become very comfortable with giving him key minutes. Very good ball handler, with great vision and can drive and create his own shot. Some timely defensive play from Hooker (3 steals)  and Zapinski (2 blocks) in a great team win for the Jays.
