He's a great kid who went to the junior high where I teach. He'll work hard to get on the floor.
Thanks for the scoop, NCF.

IWU seems to be the place where many of our former students are going these days. :D

I thought you were supposed to be pointing them to NCC...or Middlebury.

I do give them a hard time when I see them at the gym, but you know kids, they have a mind of their own and don't listen to reason. ::) ::) ;D ;D :D :D :P :P

CCIW classic - IWU vs North Park, 1988.  Someone said this was #1 vs #2 nationally...I can't confirm this.

This was probably IWU's most talented D3 era team (Jeff Kuehl, 7-foot D1 transfer Bill Braksick, Paul Petersen, Brian Coderre, Mark Edmundson, D1 transfer Ron Rose, Larry Lessen, the late Jason Jones).  NPU was loaded.  Great to see this footage.

I'd much rather watch the return match in Chicago a month later, in which NPC (the school wouldn't become NPU for another nine years) knocked off Illinois Wesleyan, 89-74.

Video of a sensational game - IWU vs Hope, NCAA round 2, March 2012.

Hope came in 27-1 (14-0 MIAA) and was ranked #1. lWU was 20-7 (10-4 CCIW) and not ranked.

There were 3,675 at DeVos Fieldhouse. I have heard the atmosphere described as "the most electric game I've ever seen."

I was at that game.  I'm not sure it quite matched the final IWU/ISU game, but it almost certainly beat any other other IWU game I've ever seen in person.  We Titans were vastly outnumbered, but I'll yield to no one on enthusiasm! ;D
