Cool non-conf home & home set now...

Illinois Wesleyan will travel to Yeshiva next season; Yeshiva will play in IWU's Jack Sikma HOF tourney in 2022-23.

That's fantastic! Great to see teams they would not typically get to play.

#1 vs #2?

A great matchup for sure.  Both teams should be excellent next season.

Greg, if Mendoza for Carroll keeps launching from the arc, would it be fair to say that basketball now joins baseball in having a Mendoza line?

Carthage 75
Wheaton 87

Tyler Cruickshank had a career high 32 and Adom added 22 and his league best third double-double to lead the #7 Thunder. For the Kenosha Basketball Team Bultovic had 25 and 10 while playing all 40 minutes.

iwu70

IWU over NCC.

Schumacher made 7 threes.  The Titans scoring 52 in the first half.

Anyone else have a problem with the IWU transmission? Heard Bob at half time. A real shoot out in the first half.  Titans so deep.

If the Titans shoot 50% from 3 (16-30) there isn't a team in the country that will beat them. NCC ran into a buzzsaw.

Gregory Sager

#53829
Carroll 69
North Park 61

Jordan Boyd: 14 pts, 7 rebs
Anthony Diaz: 14 pts
Mike Osborne: 13 pts, 6 rebs, 4:1 a:to
Karl Polk, Jr.: 6 rebs

Tarren Hall: 26 pts (9-13 FG, 6-9 trey), 13 rebs
Justin Steinike: 10 pts

Vikings cut their own throat again at the FT line, where they were 10-22 (including 1-6 on the front end of one-and-ones). Their other big problem was Tarren Hall, who carried his team on his back in a big way. Everything he launched today seemed to go in, including a 25-footer from the top of the key at the shot-clock buzzer that banked in.

Today vs North Central, IWU got 72 points, 23 rebounds, 17 assists from players returning in 2021-22.

Augie had a positive today - someone in the traveling party to Decatur.  Unfortunately they are shut down for 10 days now.

Both IWU/Augie games this week are off.

The Vikings were just starting to really click and play well.  Horrible break.

Titan Q

Most of Augie's roster, including coaches, had COVID in the Fall as I understand.

The problem is that when the last few remaining people now get it, the ones who had it in the Fall are now past their 90-day "immunity window" (my term).  So they get put in quarantine due to "close contact."  (Whereas if within 90 days, they would be ok.)

Crazy year.

Titan Q

Carthage at Millikin tomorrow postponed.

I wonder if Augie's positive a day after playing Millikin has affected Millikin.

I wonder if Augie's positive a day after playing Millikin has affected Millikin.

This was in fact the case.

Because Millikin played Augie, and Augie had a positive the next day, Millikin and Carthage decided to postpone.
