Mr. Ypsi

COVID-19 seems so weird and random.  After we went to his house for Xmas, #1 son (who had been somewhat under the weather for several weeks), finally got tested and, yes, positive.  One of his daughters also tested positive.  But his wife and other three kids all tested negative, as did all the guests at Xmas! ;D  I don't doubt that omicron is a virulent as they say, but you sure couldn't prove it by our family's experience (and while Mrs. Y and I both started out wearing masks, we soon took them off as no one else was wearing them).

Not sure if this has any relevance to COVID restrictions in general, but also not sure if ANY protocols will ultimately prove useful.  This virus will seemingly do whatever the hell it wants to do. ::)

NCC got its two games rescheduled. They'll trek to Rock Island on Monday, January 24th (and play again in Naperville two days later as scheduled). The Elmhurst game is scheduled for Monday, January 31st.

One thing we do know: the most dangerous part of Covid-19 for healthy young adults is the bus ride to the gym.

So young hero, ask yourself............................Do you want to go to college, get a good education, and play (basketball)(football), or do you want to go to college, get a good education, and watch (basketball)(football)? 🤔 😏

Don't surround yourself with yourself. 🧍🏼‍♂️(Yes)

Does Double R take the prize for first CCIW Coach to make friends with Covid?  :o  ::)
Will he have company soon?
Looks like he is symptom free and should be fully recovered soon.  :)

I know for sure that is not the case.  Many CCIW head and assistant coaches have had it.

I planned to attend this weekend's NPU game with friends from out of state, but COVID intervened.  My buddy from Cali may visit in February for the Augie game.

I was specifically referring to men's basketball (Head) Coaches.
This really is the Men's BASKETBALL board. Honest. See, right up there at the top it says MBB: College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin.  ;D
Accordingly, I would think the intended reference was quite obvious.  ;)

And my response was strictly MBB related.

The league is all-in on this game.

And this game happens to be enormous.

As long as he doesn't screw up Nyameye Adom's pronunciation, he should be his usual mediocre self. ;)
