Yeah, but I wanna know about how the Opera ensemble travels.  Surely they don't travel by plebeian means such as <shudder> vans?

If IWU is properly teaching these budding stars how to properly diva, they should be traveling in Illinois Western's fleet of stretch limos.  And if your role includes performing an aria, you should have your own limo.

Rumor has it North Park has received a NetJet gift card from a certain alum and will now be flying Gulfstream 650's for all trips longer than 30 minutes.

No, they travel in covered and curtained litters with eight porters, four to a pole. Each porter wears the colors of one of the eight other CCIW schools.

Rumor has it that since the Illinois Western Opera Ensemble is beginning to look into engaging in international performances, members of the Board of Trustees Financial Committee recently met with Boeing to discuss the possible purchase of suitable transportation. The source of principle funding would evidently be the proceeds from the Western Weenies most recent Day of Giving.

And this just in....................In addition to their recently purchased fleet of limos, and the possibility of obtaining air transport, Illinois Western is also desirous of upgrading their academic offerings. As such, they are apparently considering purchasing the renowned Augustana Medical School!!!
