It is interesting to hear him disagree, to an extent, with Bob Quillman on the type of students he will recruit.  It is not what I would have expected, but I know nothing of his former institution so...

No doubt Bob's response to the disagreement was to block him on Twitter.  :)

I feel slightly guilty about it, but I couldn't help but chuckle a bit at this.

I wouldn't characterize what transpired as a disagreement. Quillman posed the question in a way that was speculative about whether the coach would be looking for a different kind of student athlete at NCC than he had at Parkland, and the response was simply an explanation that the profile of the students at Parkland, because of its proximity to U of I, was not that different from the profile of students at NCC, therefore he would not be recruiting a different kind of student, but would be recruiting somewhat differently geographically.

I thought I had that covered with my to an extent qualifier.

Next Man Up

I was somewhat surprised that in discussing Matt Helwig, TQ appeared to be unsure of whether Matt was returning this year despite the fact that such was reported here back in August.
So young hero, ask yourself............................Do you want to go to college, get a good education, and play (basketball)(football), or do you want to go to college, get a good education, and watch (basketball)(football)? 🤔 😏

Don't surround yourself with yourself. 🧍🏼‍♂️(Yes)

I guess that Bob isn't even bothering to lurk here anymore.

Well, that's his mistake then. There seems to be good information on these boards. I guess he's too big for d3hoops.com now. Oh well.

No time. He's probably investing a majority of his time engineering a takeover of Twitter including flooding the platform with voluminous tweets about how every recruit who puts on a green uniform is significant, as always, and will undoubtedly be a future Illinois Western
All-American. Oh well.

Be fair, Mark. He talks a lot about Yeshiva, too. ;)

(Bob, if you are lurking here, you know I'm just kidding. Oh, and great interview with Figueroa.)

That is a good joke and also true.

But yeah, I never miss an episode of the Q-vlog.

North Park's 2022-23 roster is out. Of the Vikings' 23 players, seven are new transfers and four are freshmen. I have no idea how competent the Vikings will be this season, but one thing I do know is that, between all of the newcomers who will play prominent roles and the runrunrunsomemore style that Sean Smith wants to play, the first couple of home games are going to be absolutely chaotic to call for yours truly.

Nope. Not the System.

I suspect that it will be more like Nolan Richardson's "40 minutes of hell" back in the heyday of Arkansas in the '90s. At the very least, it will be 40 minutes of hell for me to call. :D
