if you go to the most recent date and then cciw-view all cciw teams, you get a interesting look at relative strengths and weaknesses of teams. it's through all non-conference games, i believe

That's a very useful tool, although I'm not sure that it tells us that much at this stage of the season. Thanks for posting it, TD -- it's definitely worthy of a bookmark.

This is one I use fairly often. You can look up individual players or team stats for any sport as far back as the records go, which varies by division with the D1 records going back a little further.

One thing, though. I think both of these are only updated at the end of each sport's respective season.

On further review...I stand corrected...Thunder Dutch's site does appear to be updated through 1/4/09.

Although my comment about the race being wide open did not contain any double negatives, I appreciate Titan clarifying my thoghts for Usee.  The conference title is decided by key road wins. And yes if Augie is "fortunate" enough to win at Wheaton nect week, they will be in a good spot early in the season.

All Q did was restate what everyone on here knows about the CCIW race. Protect home court and grind out half your road wins.

My post was because your comments made no sense. When you say things like "Wheaton and Augie were fortunate to win" and "The race is wide open until a contender loses a home game or two" and don't support it with any substance, its pretty ambiguous what you mean and can be interpreted differently (which I explained). I asked for a clarification and Q gave me what I know already. All you have done is say "yeah, what he said" to which I would say "then what point did you make?"

Here is an article from the Chicago Sun-Times on Wheaton's win and number one ranking.
My question is: do they have a better pictue than that for Wheaton or Raymond?  My guess is that it is two years old from the Northwestern game, but I don't know.

Okay, you guys win. I apologize for my incoherent post. Perhaps it was caused by the euphoria of Augie's great comeback. In the future I'll try to be cogent and insightful in all my posts like everyone else on the board.

We'll let it go this time, but just you watch yourself, mister. We don't take kindly to euphoric incoherence in these here parts.

I'm sure there would be many who would vote for ME to take the name! ;D

But, sorry, I'm still Mr. Ypsi.

In contradicting your prior explanatory post AF; your apology, while written without double negatives, typos, and spell checked is not necessary.  Since Greg can let it go, so can I, if we can now all get an AMEN from dgp.

The heck with Euphoric Incoherence. I'm still hoping to see someone in the CCIW football room lose a bet and be forced to call himself Mr. Ypsi's Female Dog.

And that, readers, is why I spend all my time on the basketball board.  :o

Greg, that's euphemistic coherence.
