I understand, but I'm doing it to all of them and the CCIW doesn't get an exemption.
But, but, but... We have 7 ranked teams in the polls! We are the proverbial sun, and the rest of DIII basketball revolves around us!!!  :D :P ;)

After the brouhaha on the Top 25 board, I could see that post coming a mile away.

I just thought it would be from OxyBob, not our sweet April! :o ::)
But it's so much cuter coming from me. :-*

The SCIACers have poisoned that poor girl with their strange, alien ways.
It's funny how true this is... especially when taking into account SoCal in general.

And, yes, I am going to keep talking about Charcoal Delights when I reply to your posts, in the perhaps vain hope that I can raise your cholesterol level just by your having to read those two words. ;) :D

Not likely. :P

I am still traumatized, by the way. All laughing and joking aside, I will be crying myself to sleep tonight. Waaaaah......... :P

3. Since Wheaton is #1, we were raptured!

This one gets my vote  :D

As a non-dispensationalist, I must strenuously object to your unilateral attempt to settle eschatological debates by plebiscite. ;)

There are plenty of us Wheaton grads that are non-dispensational. Right Mugsy?   8)

I'm afraid to ask, so for my own peace of mind I'm just going to assume that that's some sort of obscure reference to Ron Rose on your part, and move on.

I have to admit, April, that was a nice riposte. But in light of Pat's search-engine-based housekeeping and this post:

Similar to the t-shirt I saw once that said "you can send me to college, but you can't make me think".

Whenever somebody asks me about the rapture, I reply that it's my least-favorite Blondie song and it proved that Debbie Harry didn't know how to rap.

Greg, "least favorite" implies that you liked it, but less than your favorite and second favorite, if not more.  Would you care to share your exhaustive list of "favorite Blondie songs"?  You can stop at a Top 10 if you're worried about appearing too wordy.  ::)

Yeah, I could do that and we could take bets offline on which poster would be the first to post, "Is it Wednesday yet?"

ABBA could've done that song and no one would know the difference.

Well Greg, I forgot about the original name for this board.  Thanks for reminding me of my relative age.  Yeah, I remember coming across it in the 98 or 99 season.  I think I landed on the moniker Hiker Jim based on some guy that used to post using the name Ranger Jim.  Old memories...

Congrats on the (past) 10th anniversary of the Board!  Author! Author!

This board is not as cerebral as Sager used to claim it was.  Debbie Harry?  WTF.

Shoot, we missed the 10th anniversary of the board, which I think was about Oct. 15, 2008.

T2K,

The charm of CCIW Chat (regardless of that bureaucratic new name ;)) has always been that Spinoza and Dumb and Dumber are equally welcome.
