LOL. I havent been on the board in awhile and Im surprised at the ridiculousness of the argument. I thought I got it bad over on the MWC board for my LU rant on the conference selections, but I have watched CCIWchamps karma drop from -3 to -17 over the span of time I wasn't on. Shouldn't you just give up your argument? It is entertaining though, and maybe a little bit annoying as well.  ;D

Yeah, no kidding.  I actually did give up the topic several posts back, but it keeps coming back to life via new entries to the board.  And yes, since I last checked in, I've dropped from -15 to -23 in a matter of a few hours.  I'm not sure which post put them off.
Pat did say there are quite a few posters on the CCIW board capable of controlling your k.

Congrats to Wheaton for finishing #2 in the Top 25 poll.  A great year!

D3Boards Karma score, the real measure of man's worth.  When someone asks how I am doing, I pause to check my Karma score.  :D

In honor of 'dead horses' everywhere:

HOW MANY POSTERS DOES IT TAKE TO CHANGE A LIGHT BULB?

1 to change the light bulb and to post that it has been changed.

14 to share similar experiences of changing light bulbs and how the light bulb could have been changed differently.

7 to caution about the dangers of changing light bulbs.

6 to argue whether it's "lightbulb" or "light bulb".

Another 6 to condemn those 6 as stupid.

2 industry professionals to inform the group that the proper term is "lamp".

15 know-it-alls who claim they were in the industry, and that "light bulb" is perfectly correct.

19 to post that this forum is not about light bulbs and to please take this discussion to another forum.

11 to defend the posting to this forum saying that we all use light bulbs and therefore the posts are relevant to this forum.

36 to debate which method of changing light bulbs is superior, where to buy the best light bulbs, what brand of light bulbs work best and what brands are faulty.

5 to post pics of their own light bulbs.

7 to post URLs where one can see examples of different light bulbs.

4 to post that the URLs are faulty and then post corrected URLs.

5 to post to the group that they will no longer post because they cannot handle the light bulb controversy.

4 to say "Didn't we already go through this a short time ago?"

13 to say "Do a search on light bulbs before posting questions about light bulbs."

1 to bring politics into the discussion by adding that {W/Obama} is not the brightest bulb.

4 more to launch personal attacks over their political views.

1 moderator to lock the 'light bulb' thread.

This is just pure brilliance. Wow.

Mr. Ypsi

I hasten to acknowledge that it is only slightly modified from a joke my wife forwarded to me.  But it had already been forwarded to her with no attribution, so I couldn't credit it.  It is brilliant (and not far from the truth for some boards I've seen), but the brilliance is not mine.

Wheaton's Raymond Named 2009 DIII News Player of the Year. "Kent came back for another year of basketball and proved that he is a top player at this level," said DIII News Editor Gary Rubin of the selection. Rubin concluded, "There were many candidates for this award, but at the end of the day we felt Kent was the most deserving."

You, Sir, have offended the denizens of the bat cave.  Whenever one of their number is taking a verbal beating they swarm like locust thinking that by generating negative karma to their offended's berater they negate his/her arguments.  Actually, as in past performances these denizens only prove the worthiness of the offender's argument by their infantile group theatrics and rhetoric.  Most of them don't even comment they just give you a -K.

I will +K you, sir, every day until I, and the rest of my truth squad, can get you back to higher ground.

"You're all aces in my book."
I am determined to be wise, but this was beyond me.

2 Classic lightbulb jokes:

How many psychologists does it take to change a lightbulb?
One, but the lightbulb has got to really want to change.

How many surrealists does it take to change a lightbulb?
