See the frontpage.  The D3hoops.com crew projects both IWU and Wheaton in.  They have IWU heading to Wash U next weekend, facing Hope on Friday night, with the winner getting the Wash U/Westminster winner.  They have Wheaton at John Carroll, facing the host school in Round 1.

One of my only disagreements with their bracket is the projection of John Carroll hosting over Wooster...I don't understand that one.  I completely agree with IWU getting sent to Wash U for a 4-team Rounds 1/2 pod.  It seems very likely the Titans will end up in St. Louis, facing someone other than Wash U in Round 1.  My initial thought was:

Wash U
Westminster

IWU
Central (Iowa)

I think I nailed all 19 Pool C bids, got the Wash U pod correct, and had Carthage hosting.

My bracketology does not allow me to believe in luck, but that pushes the outer edge of my bracketology.

Does this mean that your bracketology is conforming to the higher power (i.e. the NCAA) or vice versa...?

Carthage hosting seems to make sense.  So does IWU going to Wash U.  At first, I was feeling badly for Wheaton having to go down to the Lone Star State, but how cool has it got to be for Ben Panner to (likely) finish off his career in his home state?!

I'd be willing to be Ben would think it even MORE cool if his career DOESN'T end in his home state! ;)

Thought about that.  Didn't want to push their luck.  Then was reminded by Q's reference that there is no room for luck in Wheaton's post-season.  ;)

Monmouth was short handed in that Central game so you can't pay too much attention to the score.

Magic and Pele on the same team.......doesn't seem fair.

Carthage and Aurora scrimmaged each other in the preseason, I believe, and the Spartans were the team that the Red Men didn't play in their season-opening classic-format tourney in Kenosha, so they're not entirely unfamiliar with each other.

This is the best bracket I've seen put together in many years...much more balanced.  Hats off to the national committee on a job well done.

Agreed. I'd like to think that all of the screaming about last year's Bracket of Death on these boards led the suitably-chastened committee to be a bit more creative in their bracket construction, but I'm not kidding myself about that.

I've never heard of Albertus Magnus.

I'd love to see Albertus Magnus take on Gustavus Adolphus someday, with the P.A. announcer using Latin instead of English. "Johnson pro duos, quod is mos peto versus perpetro tri-cuspis tendo!"

Show off -  ;D

I've got a papal mass you should listen to and give us a play by play.

Actually, for a "dead" language that's quite impressive.
I am determined to be wise, but this was beyond me.

Bob, what are those metrics you used to calculate possessions per game and points per possession again?  I think it might be useful to use those when comparing playoff teams.
