I had a disturbing dream that I drove to Bloomington, and I could not get into the Shirk Center because they had sold tickets to a a sea of NCC fans.

And then I got in for some reason Coach Raridon was in place of Coach Rose.

I better stop reading this board, things are getting weird.

North Central, picked to finish 6th in the 8 team CCIW, now appears in the "Others Receiving Votes" section (#37) in this week's D3Hoops Top 25.   ;D   8-)

Note, all 5 of those NCC Top 25 poll points came from 1 voter.

And that 1 voter had 401 other schools (402 are listed in the NCAA D3 stats) that he could have given those votes to.
365 of those 402 schools received less votes than did NCC. I wonder how many other schools have exceeded expectations by as wide a margin from the beginning of the season until this point. A pretty nice accomplishment.
Would love to give you credit for those 5 votes if you would like to take it.

I think Bob wants us to guess who the NCC-friendly voter is. ;)

Yep. Don't know how that happened. Thanks, Bob.

Looks like the start of the EC @ MU game might be delayed. The women's game still has over five minutes left on the clock, and it's very close.

CCIW historians... is North Central's 15-10 the "worst" record for a conference champion?

Let me be the first to congratulate North Central on breaking a 21-year drought. Augie's loss tonight means that North Central shares the CCIW title, its first league crown (or share thereof) since 1990. NCC also has the tiebreaker in hand over Augie, having posted a better record in the second round-robin than the Rock Islanders, so the Cardinals will host the CCIW tourney.

Nice shot. Titans got it done.

Either way though, it will be a tough road for the Thunder.

And Ypsi, I know of no good Norwegian soccer player. Biathlete yes, but nothing doing on the pitch.

Basketball Titans, remember the 2010 baseball Titans.  From 18-19 late in the season, they won the conference tourney, won the regional tourney, and won the World Series!

Miracles CAN happen! :o

We shall see whether or not they can happen twice inside of 10 months.
