A Lover of the Game

I pray that Travis' doctor clears him too.   As one of you have said, the seniors will get another shot at it and I'd like to see Travis on the floor with his senior classmate.  Congrats and best of luck to the Titans and the Vikings.  Represent the CCIW well.
Play the best to be the best.

Twinkie Morneau bopped his head while sliding fingers first before the 2010 all-star game, sustaining a concussion because his forehead hit the opponent's shin.  Justin did not play the rest of the season yet the Twins had the best AL record after the injury.  Footballers return much earlier.  Dave Duerson must have been in hell.  I hope Travis does not return too early and receives the attention he should.
Once a metalhead, always a metalhead.  Matthew 5:13.

I'm happy.  I'm stunned.  Congrats to the TITANS and to the CCIW.  But, I must say some other teams have a pretty good gripe about not getting in.  I feel bad for Carleton especially, where I have some strong ties too.  Now the TITANS have to make some noise.  No time for clunkers now.  Good luck to Augie and IWU this weekend.

IWU women playing at home at The Shirk!

Go GREEN.

I think everyone will be very, if not overly, cautious.  With all the talk about concussions now, nobody wants to put Travis at risk.  I really will be surprised if he is given the go ahead.   I don't know if Travis has any other gear than full speed.

As usual, through all the speculations and guesstimations about IWU's chances, Mr. Titan Q has again proven his knowledge and wisdom.   On the other hand, I had surely given up hope for such an outcome and shifted my attention to the women and their upcoming run at the Shirk "home final four" and a first national title for the women's program.

Well now, this certainly makes things all the more interesting and doubly enjoyable.

I'm really not even sure if Rock Island, IL is wired for the internet yet.

Q, down boy!  Let Augie and Rock Island have their day.

I'm sure MSP is wired for the internet so let's hope a good video and audio feed out of St. Thomas on Friday and Saturday.

Must have been a very happy Monday around Shirk Center yesterday (already Tuesday here in HK).

Off to class . . .

According to the St. Thomas men's basketball website, all 3 games will have live video feed.  Get out your 16' monitor cable and use your 32" flat screen tv as a second monitor, pop the popcorn and enjoy!

St. Thomas does have a video feed for their games... but it is from a very high vantage point and controlled remotely... and it isn't the best quality.

That said, there's video, which is a step up from many schools!

naughty, naughty Q.  Just becase Augustana is a vacuum, it doesn't follow automatically that Rock Island is still in the stone age.  Oh wait - Rock Island - I get it.  Maybe you are right.
I am determined to be wise, but this was beyond me.
