Tim McCrary just passed Jon Nielson on the all time assists list, moving into #3. (Excuse me while I am secretly sad for a few minutes, since Jon Nielson was pretty much my favorite Wheaton player ever.  ) He'll pass Matt Nadelhoffer for #2 either in this game or next since there's only a 2 assist gap between Nielson and Nadelhoffer. Congrats Tim!

I think the CCIW is in the process of making a mockery of everyone who was so sure our league was so terribly down this year.

I couldn't be more proud of Ron Rose and the Titans.  What a unbelievable performance. 

And Jordan Zimmer - 28 pts.  Amazing.

Neither team deserved to lose this one - it was an just a ridiculous game.

The best 40, I mean 45, whoops 50 minutes by IWU maybe this season. A gutty double overtime 108-101 W over Hope - a real team win.  And, Jordan Zimmer - an incredible performance!

It's officially over, 73-62 Wheaton. Sweet 16, woot! We might even get to take on Whitewater at home!??! That would be a huge deal, Wheaton hasn't lost a game at home all season long.

Now do I hope for VWC to host so I can see the Sweet 16 live? Or do I hope for Wheaton to host and just plan on seeing them in Salem? I mean, not that I'm looking ahead or anything.

What an amazing night for the CCIW - all five teams make the Sweet 16.  I can't imagine that this has happened to very many leagues before. Let the sectional hosting debates begin.
