A recent tweet suggests that the votes are coming in right now.

Double header at the shirk Tuesday, girls game before the boys. Both against whitewater. 5:15 tipoff for the girls

What a great double-header!  Almost worth the commute from the Chicago area.......

Augie's Bryant Voiles playing for Sioux Falls in the NBA D-League. Had a nice debut in their opener. 6 points (2-2 3's), 3 rebounds, 2 assists and no turnovers in 12 minutes in a 107-98 win.

lst week D3hoops poll:  NCC at #5, IWU at #7.  Augie and Wheaton getting some love in "others receiving votes."

Good test for IWU on Tuesday night vs. defending national champs, WI-WW @The Shirk, @7:30 p.m.  We're going to need all the pieces working together, playing well for this outing.

Yes, a good double-header, with the women playing WW at 5:15 p.m.

On another topic, just watched some HS hoops, Inter-city B/N tournament, @Shirk, and BHS has a very nice wing / guard, great trey shooter named Brady Rose . . . hopefully he'll come to IWU in due time!  Plenty of talented Seibrings running around, too, on Normal West and Normal Community.  Also, watched Keita Bates-Diop the other night, the U High DI signee to Ohio State.  Very smooth, long wing player, at the 3 or 4, at about 6'7" with a wing span of a seven footer.  He can flat out play . . .  He's a junior now and will be something very bigtime by the time he arrives in Columbus in fall, 2014.  Something very special to look forward to . . . all you Buckeye fans.  One of the best players out of the B/N area in a long, long time.

Greg: Over Thanksgiving I was down in Texas and had a nice chat with one of my brother's PhD profs who went to U of Chicago for his PhD, but I really had to hold my tongue and not say, "You guys have a really ugly basketball arena".  :-X ;D

A belated Happy Thanksgiving to all! :)

I was not very happy when I heard that he had committed to tOSU instead of U of I. I thought he was a lock to go to Champaign.

Like most of U of C alumni, he undoubtedly would've responded to your snarky comment with a glassy-eyed stare of incomprehension. I suspect that the vast majority of U of C students never set foot in the Ratner Center gym even once during their sojourns in Hyde Park. Heck, I'll even bet that most U of C students who use the other parts of Ratner (the fitness center, the pool, etc.) never set foot in the gym.

Yeah but that would definitely be talking about a prospect who's not signed. Bummer for him.

Agreed. Very interesting, although I don't twitter. Just one more minefield of NCAA rules and regulations, I guess.

Tom Slyder's first season is off to a seriously rocky start, although he was under no illusions that it would be a bed of roses when he signed on back at the end of May. This is just another unfortunate circumstance that sets things back for NPU.

Well, saying something on Twitter is the same as making an official statement. It's not really that difficult if you know what you're not allowed to say. The medium doesn't matter.
