kiko, thanks for all the info, data on the rankings' movement.  Very interesting.

Looking forward to the big game -- IWU @ NCC Tuesday night.  Two top five teams going at it.  Hope everyone on both squads is healthy, ready to play.

My prediction, IWU 69 NCC 66 in OT.  Sodemann with the game-winner!   :)

70,
I hope you are right, even down to Pat S. making the winning shot. I just don't know how we will be able to stand it if it goes down like you predict. Your last  time was right on, got two in a row?

IWU is hosting an 8-team high school track meet on Friday, starting at 4 pm. Parking for Shirk could be tight for the 5 pm b'ball game. But there are numerous lots close to Shrik, including the baseball parking lot which is west of Shirk on southbound Franklin Ave.  Parking is allowed on the west side of Franklin, but not the east side. There are a few spaces directly west of the softball field which can be reached by going north on Franklin (turn right off westbound Emerson heading north on Franklin). You might want to get there early and eat at Tommy's, IWU's grill and pub (yes, you can get beer) located in the basement of the Hansen Student Center (located south of Shirk).

Brody Bence to Millikin...

6-7 forward that can shoot it.

Looks like a nice pick-up for the Big Blue. He looks like he will add some depth at the forward position. After starting 6-8, 6-7... MU goes 6-5, 6-4 at the back up post spots. Should help them down the road.

Has the game NCC/IWU  video started for anyone else?

Livestats is still saying the game hasn't started yet.  Did the Titans leave their jerseys in B'town again?! ;D

With Carthage's season closing out with a win at North Park, let me just say how well I thought this team played through diversity (lost Kelly and Bauch before the season started, a few others during the season).  I hope that Mitch Thompson and Tyler Pierce get all CCIW consideration as they played very well throughout conference play, and if it weren't for the terrible first game loss, they might have been in the CCIW tournament.

OT:  The NCAA's top enforcement official, who has been recently terminated due to her actions in the U of Miami case, played hoops at Millikin.

Once a metalhead, always a metalhead.  Matthew 5:13.

Whew, that was close. Hope I don't have to do that ever again. Rooting for North Central makes me feel so... dirty...

And the streak continues....

Congratulations to IWU for a great season and fun run through the CCIW.  Looking forward to watching all three CCIW teams in the dance.

Terrific game in Naperville tonight...two great games, and some really impressive individual efforts.  I thought IWU was close to pulling in out at the end of regulation, but Gamble made two big FTs late...and then he was outstanding in OT.

Great run, Titans...and great regular season.  21-4 and 13-1.

On to the conference tournament...should be a great atmosphere in Bloomington this weekend.
