This board reminds me of "Groundhog Day".

So does the cold and the snow?  Why did the groundhog see its shadow?  I want winter to be over already!

Groundhog day is a total travesty anyway.  I'd be delighted if winter ONLY lasted another six weeks!  (Spring on March 16th?  I'll take it!!)

This is my 44th winter in Michigan.  I've been through snowier winters, and I've been through colder winters.  But this is already THE worst for the combination of cold and snowy.  Someone make it stop!!! >:(

What you need to do is wear ruby slippers and a IWU jersey to the IWU vs Wheaton game.  Go to the center of the court right before the game click your heels three times and keep saying, "There's no place for more snow"   That should work ........
for a good laugh. ;D :D

I believe tonight in Kenosha is a play-in game for the 3rd/4th spot in the CCIW tournament.  With a Carthage loss, they would lose the head-to-head tie breakers with both Augie AND Elmhurst.  Elmhurst still has games with Augie and North Central on their schedule, so they're not a lock with a win.

Redmen need to right the ship tonight in a big way.

For any IWU fans planning on making the trip to Naperville tonight who attended either or both of the games at NCC last season, you may not recognize the place upon your arrival this evening.

As you enter, visitor seating is the first 2 sections to the left of the main entrance doors (east half of north wall and under east basket) or in the balcony.

Is that the dump up the hill from the outdoor track--used to have an indoor track in it as I recall? Al Carius let us in there to sleep and wait out the lightning when it rained for like 5 hours straight at an outdoor track meet there around 1998.

You seem a little directionally challenged Appleton, but its likely the same place.

And by the way........, your heartfelt expression of gratitude for keeping your sorry ass dry for those 5 hours is sincerely appreciated.   :-*   :P

Al is a great guy and one of the best coaches in the history of track and cross country at any level.  And I was grateful.  But the place sort of stunk.

Only 5 players scored for North Central, and one of those was Kevin Honn with 4 points.
