Augie scrimmaged at Benedictine Friday.  The teams tied the first 20 minutes...Augie won the second period by 8 or so.

From what I heard after Benedictine's first scrimmage, He Who Shall Not Be Named looked absolutely dynamite for the Bennies. He's actually started using his size to his advantage and has become a solid presence underneath the basket.

He Who Shall Not Be Named.
What the heck is that? Is that like somebody's Indian name? Like Dances With Wolves?

Yes. He is the son of He Who Angers The Lover Of Cardinals. ;)

Well, at least that's getting off pretty easy compared to Moses and the Israelites! ;)

On another note, I heard Aurora is scrimmaging at Carthage tonight.
Perhaps someone can get a handle on the results.

BTW, friends tell me that Moses was in the desert for forty years because, being male, he refused to ask for directions. :P

Is he going to complete the bell curve... and return to Carthage at the end of the year?

He Who Shall Not Be Named.

I think its very courageous that Ashabi has chosen to return to intercollegiate athletics 10 years after graduating from Albion.   (2 people might get this but its hysterical)

Brandon Berry is no longer on the NPU roster.  Seems like he was maybe the 2nd best newcomer?  Big loss I assume?

So with the new shot clock down to 30 I would think that turnovers and scoring to increase and FG% to go down.  So looks like we are slouching towards "Grinnell" ;D
