Slowness is Augie's weakness, which North Park was able to exploit twice.

That may be true, but it hasn't stopped them from reaching the Final Four while NPU is at home. After watching some of the Williams/Middlebury game, I don't think that will be an issue against Williams.

Congratulations to the following d3hoops.com All-Region selections:

1st team: Jordan Robinson, Aston Francis
2nd team: Juwan Henry, Alex Sorenson
3rd team: Chrishawn Orange
ROY: Brad Perry
COY: Grey Giovanine

I was disappointed that Jordan Robinson didn't get All-Region POY, although I've long since reconciled myself to the reality that Joey Flannery of Babson is going to be d3hoops.com's POY when the All-American team is announced. Ty Sabin of Ripon had an undeniably phenomenal season and career, and I suspect that his 43-point performance against Wash U in the tourney's opening round likely cinched the Central Region's POY award for himself.

A question for the Sultans of Stat: Prior to the Vikings' run, when was the last time a CCIW member made three Elite Eights in a row? I'm guessing North Park back in the 70s, but anything more recent? Thanks

IWU just missed quite recently - FF in both 2012 and 2014, but lost in the Sweet 16 (to NCC) in 2013.

Wasn't IWU in three straight elite 8's in the mid-1990s?

So, CCIW rivals of Augustana, what's the best way to beat them, and who is the key guy or guys to stop :)

First, please provide same info on Williams.   ;D

I'm really just curious.  I think both coaching staffs will, in all events, know far more by Friday based on their own observations than we can even start to point out :)

I would agree with that, but I would also say that NPUs starting five, although not big and tall, may have been one of quicker teams in the region if not the country.

Easy question, nescac1

One thing you need to do is shoot better than 44% from the free throw line.

Mr. Ypsi

I think Augie has an excellent chance of beating Williams, but should be VERY grateful than Duncan Robinson transferred to Michigan!  If they had DR, Williams would be (IMO) a prohibitive favorite to win the Walnut-and-Bronze.
