Augie overcame a really slow start to pull this one out. Benning with 16 points kept them in the game early, and Orange had a big 3 in the OT with Ebel hitting the game winner. Ebel scored 19 with 11 FTs but was 0 for 6 on 3 pointers. Once again the bench contributed very little to the victory.

An exciting come from behind win but as tough as the CCIW looks this year, the Vikings need to regain their  2017-18 mojo, if they expect to play in the post season again this year.

The other two CCIW teams that played tonight both lost. Carthage dropped a home game up in Kenosha to Olivet by a score of 78-72. Kienen Baltimore led the way with 22 for the Red Men, while Preston Laketa contributed 17 and Jordon Kedrowski 13 in the losing cause. Sean Johnson had eight rebounds and five blocks.

Wabash buried Elmhurst tonight, 95-71, in Crawfordsville, IN, as the Little Giants jumped out to a 19-4 lead in the game's first six minutes and never looked back. Jake Rhode was the only 'jay to reach double figures, as he scored 13 points and had three steals. Jeremy Ireland pulled down 10 boards for Elmhurst.

Mark didn't report in yesterday or today, so I'll go ahead and mention that North Central defeated Finlandia last night up in the U.P., 83-58. Connor Raridon had a 22 and 11 double-double, Mike Pollack scored 16 off the bench, Matt Cappelletti chipped in 13, and Jack Bronec contributed 11 to the NCC cause.

Hmmm, no report

Should we send out a search party?

#6 Emory lost tonight, vs. Sewanee.

Never expected to see this result posted over here.

Admittedly, I don't know much about the East coast teams.

Your Lou Holtz deal was not fooling anyone. :)

Lots of parity.  I'd put Nebraska Wesleyan a little ahead of the rest of the pack, but UW-Stevens Point is right there in "tier 2" -- and tier 2 probably has 10-12 teams.  The Pointers are probably just as good as every team you have listed above except NWU.  (And the separation with NWU is tiny.)

Lots of good teams, lots of even teams.

Congrats to Augie for their win over Point.  Great game, all down to 15 seconds and one shot.

Titans have Point upcoming.

Convenient comments AFTER the game. 🤔😎😀 Curious if you'd still have such kind words for the Pointers had they lost by 16, like they did last year.

Elmhurst lost two battles last night that they typically win, rebounds and bench points. Wabash with a huge advantage by capitalizing on second chance points and points off turnovers in the first half, on top of shooting the ball better than Elmhurst. On the positive side, EC's turnovers were slightly down from the average in their first three games.
