* Wesley Hooker, 6-2 SG (Downers Grove South HS)

My super source says: "This is a good one for Elmhurst. Little raw, but an excellent rebounder and as good of an athlete as you will probably find in the league."

Was recruited by a lot of D3 and NAIA schools, including North Park.

Nice to see Elmhurst land a lauded recruit that is essentially from their own backyard (West Suburban Conference).

Augie's ability to consistently bring in guys at 6'9+ is honestly getting ridiculous... Kid seems like a significant pickup!

Daniel Carr, 6-9 C (Regis Jesuit HS/Auroro, Co)

19.8 ppg, 11.4 rpg

This is the same Denver area high school that produced Nolan Ebel.

Regis Jesuit is an elite private school in Denver and lately an athletic powerhouse.  Gold Medalist Missy Franklin is also an alum.  Given it's distance from the d3 world, it's a good place to have a recruiting foothold.

Portage(WI) 6'4" Wing, Eli Considine, has committed to Wheaton.  Can play above the rim and averaged 25 a game in a solid conference, granted he played on a bad team.  Good get for Wheaton, his final 2 includes UW-Stevens Point.

No doubt a tough decision between 2 schools whose social scenes so closely parallel each other.  ::)  ;)

IWU grad Jack Sikma is part of the 2019 Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame class.  What a huge honor for Jack.  And what an incredible story from little Illinois Wesleyan to the Hall of Fame.

Jack told ESPN's Rece Davis and Jay Bilas that Dennie Bridges came up with the idea for the the inside pivot (the "Sikma move" as it became known) before his sophomore year at IWU.

Not just social scenes. Wheaton and UWSP are a pretty sharp contrast to each other in all sorts of ways.

Another Wheaton recruit ... some kid out of Wheaton North named Jacob Schauer.

Congrats to Jacob and his dad Mike on the chance to experience Wheaton basketball together. Should be something special.
