That $15,800 number was the estimate from the article about how much the average student paid in tuition last year.  That should be the overall sticker price minus Carthage scholarships and institutional financial aid, but not including federal or state aid.

Has a CCIW basketball team ever entered the season with two QBs?  (Wheaton)

Millikin with two brothers returning as the top returning scorers - I don't think that has happened since IWU's Freemans in 2006-07.

My preseason CCIW MBB preseason prediction:

1. North Central
2. Augustana
3. Illinois Wesleyan
4. Carthage
5. Elmhurst
6. Wheaton
7. Carroll
8. Millikin
9. North Park

Yikes . . . Spencer Peterson goes down in the 1st Half today, looking like a leg injury, doesn't return.

Even if healthy, he and Luke Anthony will miss at least the first 3 games, perhaps the whole of November depending if they make the playoffs and go on a deep run . . .

After watching the Wheaton vs NCC FB game today, I'd say Wheaton football players are going to be very busy in November.

Ice taped to the knee and a pair of crutches is what I saw.  Hopefully nothing too serious/long-lasting.

Unfortunately, Spencer Peterson tore an ACL. His college athletics career is over.

That sucks.

Horrible news... Having been to both the IWU game and the game today against NCC, Spencer's intensity and leadership on the sidelines couldn't have gone unnoticed. He plays with such passion and goes all out every snap he's on the field. He also provided much needed size on the court, and a much improved jumper. His athleticism and competitive spirit will be missed on the gridiron and the hardwood. A torn UCL ended my athletics career, so I know exactly how Spencer Peterson feels right now... and you are right. It really sucks...

I would assume he would be a shoo-in for a medical redshirt if he were so inclined.  Anyone prepared to chime in on his feelings about that?

Gregory Sager

Dunno about his feelings, Chuck, but I can tell you that he's a business/econ major who attends a school that doesn't have an MBA program, or any other graduate degree in a field related to economics or business. Unless he plans to go into some ministry-related field, it's not likely that he's going to pursue a masters degree at Wheaton Graduate School.

Brady Rose had 18 points and 8 assists in a Dusseldorf win yesterday.  The Giants are now 3-0. https://www.eurobasket.com/boxScores/Germany/2019/1005_6733_1639.asp

Brady starts at PG and is the team's leading scorer (21.6 ppg) so far.

As the first team All Conference squad is composed of 8 players, you need to make another selection.

He left that last spot out on purpose in homage to Spencer Peterson.  8-)

By the way, how is Connor Raridon still playing. Isn't he like 30 yrs old by now?
