And just think, they only lost/almost won with that shooting line.

Seems to me that a goal for the Thunder this year will simply be making the conference tournament.  Without knowing of any significant freshman contributions, I'm not sure they can win 10 games.  Mike Schauer will be replacing 5 players, including Spencer Peterson, from their '18-'19 regular rotation – or trying to at least.  And make that 6 if you throw in Luke Anthony's uncertain availability to rejoin the team.  He figures to likely miss the first six non-con games and maybe(probably?) the first two conference games Dec 4 and 7 (@IWU, @ MU).

Until then, they will be relying on Anajuwon Spencer, Tyson Cruickshank and Nyameye Adom to pick up the scoring slack, rebounding slack, defensive slack, distribute per diems and lead devotions.  Cade Alioth has seen off/on playing time the last two seasons and needs to step into a bigger role. Same for Viking slayer Gavin Hawkins.  Besides those five, no other current roster player has seen the floor but several could go immediately to 15+ mins.  Undoubtedly there will be minutes for one or two of the freshmen.

Michael W. - Saturday will be a game time decision on attending.   As far as our comment about guard play, I concur.  Kedrowski will be fine at the 2....he's got a nice shot and he looks bigger and stronger this year so he should match up well with other off guards.   The point guard situation will be interesting to monitor as the early season goes on.   Carthage has plenty of other offensive options, but Carthage only got 5 points on 2 - 9 shooting with 2 assists and 2 steals in a combined 36 minutes from Cook, Best and Washburn.  Cook and Best are both better defensively and Washburn offers a little more offensively (nice outside shot) so we will see how this rotation at the point plays out.

That's the same Josh Washburn who played in eight games for NPU two seasons ago as a sophomore, after spending his freshman season at Minnesota-Duluth the year before. He had appeared in 25 games for the Bulldogs in 2016-17, starting three of them, so when he transferred to NPU during semester break in January 2018 I figured that the Vikings had picked up a really solid D2 guy. It didn't turn out that way. He had a nice game offensively against Wheaton (11 points in 14 minutes), and he scored nine at home against Carroll in 19 minutes, but he was mostly overmatched physically by CCIW opponents and he didn't shoot well or defend well. It was really kind of a puzzle, given that he had been a D2 rotation guy, but at any rate he disappeared from North Park's rotation after being completely overwhelmed against Illinois Wesleyan. He quickly grew disillusioned on the bench, and quit the team in early February.

A lot can change in two years, though, so he may be a completely different player now as a Red Man.

Q, any idea why they dropped the radio broadcast during the game towards the end of the 1st half?  Reached out to Titan Facebook page,  but it's not really monitored.
Hail, Hail, the gang's all here, all out for Wesleyan!

Capaletti with 47 points, Raridon's line: 18-15-12.  That's not a triple-double, it's a locker combination.

Micah Martin was back on the court tonight and played well, as did Wofford and Tribble. Alma made the Augie win a little tougher than expected.
