Lincoln Way East 6'9" F, Nate Seputis, has also committed to Illinois Wesleyan.
I saw this on Twitter last night.  I don't know much about Nate, but I have heard he is a legit 6-9 post that has potential.  Has to get stronger but nice upside.

Fair to say he comes in behind Schneider and Hardy in terms of expectations.  You never know though.

Voxel, I know the coaching staff is doing a great job on the recruiting trail, to find a replacement for Derek Dottlich. First of all, he can't be replaced. Derek is a great example of hard work and toughness. There is an abundance of talent on the roster already, Nick Perry,Dominic Genco, and Wesley Hooker , to name a few at the guard position. It's been an amazing year at Faganel Hall. Our best season ever, the gym is being remodeled, and an absolutely fantastic coaching staff. All these things are working together to bring new players to visit and possibly commit to Elmhurst. There are big things in the future for EC. Go Blue Jays!

I didn't know this until now. It's good news, and needed to happen. I'll miss the old barn.

They sure didn't waste any time.

He's a great kid who went to the junior high where I teach. He'll work hard to get on the floor.

Glad to see it  . . . some great paint-dwelling prospects for the TITANS, to join Leretz and Bair.  Very promising.

Be well, stay safe and healthy, all.

Congratulations to Brady Rose for being named All German Pro B in his rookie year.

There's some film on him on the internet. He's spindly, but he can elevate to block the shot and he's confident in his 3 pt shot. Coach Rose is going to have to get him on a beef stew diet.

I've been noticing on Twitter that Carroll really seems to have a strong class coming in.  Names I have seen...

* Ryan Mendoza, 5-11 PG (Crystal Lake Central)

* Tyler Miller, 6-3 SG (Crystal Lake South)

* Joshua Hudgens, 6-6 PF (Burlington Central)

* Jalen Tucker, 6-4 G/F, (Oswego East HS)

* Michael Huene, 6-8 C (St. Viator)

* Paradisio Dante, 6-6 F (Castle View HS, CO)

* Justin Steinike, 6-1 PG/SG (Wauwotosa West HS, WI)

And yes, Paradisio Dante walks in the door next year as the best name in CCIW hoops...and whoever #2 is really isn't very close.

I'm already wondering if I can say on the air that Paradisio Dante has gone colder than hell, and get away with it.

Or if he's hot, maybe change his first name from Paradisio to Inferno? ;)

I think we're circling around something here.

Um, Chuck, in Dante's Inferno, the lowest circle of hell -- the circle where Satan is -- is a frozen lake.
