Video of a sensational game - IWU vs Hope, NCAA round 2, March 2012.

Hope came in 27-1 (14-0 MIAA) and was ranked #1. lWU was 20-7 (10-4 CCIW) and not ranked.

There were 3,675 at DeVos Fieldhouse. I have heard the atmosphere described as "the most electric game I've ever seen."

Jeffrey briefly flirted with a couple of other schools, but his smarts quickly came to the forefront and pointed him in the Cardinals direction. In addition to his athletic talents, Jeff was selected to the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association Academic All-State team:)

Extremely excited to announce I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Illinois Wesleyan University. Super thankful for my family, friends, teammates, and coaches for helping me along the way. Excited for the next journey. Go Titans!

------
Ron Rose and the Titans have landed Connor Heaton, a 6-5, athletic wing from Central A&M.

Heaton averaged 22 pts, 9 reb, 4 assists per game as a Sr.  He was named  1A 1st Team all-state by IBCA and AP, and is a Mr. Basketball finalist.

Another huge addition for IWU.  Ron Rose and staff won a battle vs D3 powers, several D2s, and a late push by D1 Eastern Illinois.

I might need to start following IWU, UWSP sure hasn't been any fun lately to follow on the court or in recruiting.

He's in interesting pick up. Looking at his game video, he loves to attack the rim with some pretty awesome moves. He's got the Euro step down. He's got his school's scoring record, a ton of accolades, but he's from the 1A (small school) division. Multi-sport athlete (football). My first reaction is, coming from a small school division, he's never had to face the size and skill levels of big schools. On the other hand, there are those (Olivia Lett) who came from tiny towns and had no problem adjusting to higher expectations. Hope he's the latter.

Holy C#ap! I didn't realized this guy was a finalist for Mr. Basketball. I take it back; this guy's a stud.
