I was just looking at his year highlights video. Insane. Check out his 3 pt shots. I bet a third are from NBA range.

CCIW guys.... What are the plans of this year's seniors?

Are they going to graduate and end their College basketball experience?

Will some come back and play, finishing up their degrees, or adding on academic work to the degree they've already earned?

Could there be transfers... play a fifth year at another school offering graduate work in an area of interest?

I'm curious if any significant trends are showing here or across the D3 landscape....
This assumes that I'm correct that this season does not count as an eligibility year played...

I'm curious as to how this plays out....

I asked the same question in the MIAA room
The only thing not to be liked in Florida is no D3 hoops!!!

Yes, impressive, Valentine has some range, that's for sure.  Quick release and way out there.  '70

IWU has 4 seniors.  They all have jobs lined up for next year and are moving on.

Elmhurst has multiple seniors returning as I understand it, including current 5th year senior All-American Jake Rhode (who missed this season due to injury).

Wheaton has seniors returning, including All-CCIW performers Cade Alioth and Nyameye Adom.

Those are the ones I am most familiar with.

Senior Day isn't an ironclad guarantee that a senior won't return, but it's usually a pretty good indication in that direction. This year, Scot Gladstone and I interviewed all five of North Park's men's basketball players who are graduating this May -- Simon Jacobsen, Toby Marek, Lawrence Pointer, Izaiah Sanders, and Aquil Spates -- on the air after the Senior Day win over Illinois Wesleyan, and all five of them made it pretty clear that they were moving on. As I said, though, there's no ironclad guarantees there. I'm sure that they're all quite aware that they're leaving the NCAA Covid-mulligan-option year on the table ... and in Jacobsen's case, he's leaving two more possible years of eligibility on the table, since, like most of North Park's student-athletes from Norway and Sweden, he's earning his bachelor's degree in only three years.

The NCAA mulligan option amplifies an annual dilemma for North Park's sports information staff, in that NPU, as a university in more than just name (;)), has graduate programs that give student-athletes who are seeking certain specific graduate programs in which to enroll the option of staying on campus and finishing up their athletic eligibility as a graduate student if they haven't already used up their allotted four seasons. I can think of at least a half-dozen Vikings across several sports who are doing just that either this spring or next fall. Combine that with the NCAA mulligan option, and you can see what a headache it is for us to keep track of who is coming back next year and who isn't.

Right up there on the all-time-greatest basketball player names list, alongside God Shammgod, Chubby Cox, Exree Hipp, Majestic Mapp (and, of course, his brother Scientific Mapp), Vander Blue, Longar Longar, O.J. Mayo, God'sgift Achiuwa, Matt Haryasz, Ruben Boumtje-Boumtje, Yinka Dare, Just-in'Love Smith, Pops Mensah-Bonsu, and Chief Kickingstallionsims.

(Sorry, World B. Free and Metta World Peace, but if you have to legally change your name in order to make it look exotic, it doesn't count.)

Uwe Blab's name was made only slightly less amusing by the fact that it's pronounced OO-veh rather then EW or you-EE, although American broadcasters usually called him OO-vay. And his surname's pronounced "blob" rather than "blab," which is actually even funnier.

Wow! I kinda wished for that, but never thought it would happen. Titans are talent heavy as it is. They're going to need a bigger bus. Would he be a junior?

I think we'll see Landon compete for the vacated starting job of 6-5 F Doug Wallen.  Perfect fit where there is need.  6-7 rising JR Cody Mitchell, who has seen varsity time as a FR and SO, will be part of that competition too.

Landon will be a JR academically next year, but he can play 3 years at IWU if he wants (COVID waiver for this year).  I have no clue if he plans to play 2 or 3.  In one way, having a brother in school with him will encourage 3...and in another ($$$$$$) will discourage.

IWU's 2021-22 roster will be very talented and deep across all 5 positions.

More recruiting news to come.

Great list Greg, but how could you leave Baskerville Holmes off?
