Man, the CCIW is light years ahead of everybody up in New England.  Does anyone outside the NESCAC even know if last year's roster is still going to be intact?  Yet another reason for midwest dominance.

The NPU roster isn't quite right. Devin Burnett isn't listed, and I don't think that Kevin Buckert is back in school this year.

I wonder if Lukas Dahlstrom is the first-ever New Hampshire native to appear on a CCIW men's basketball roster?

The "yell at the TV gene during games" gene can't be only on the Y chromosome, cause I totally do that too sometimes. ... in the office, the whole time during that game Wheaton beat IWU at the Shirk by 12.

Yeah, it's the same way with me and that gene -- away games and WJBC broadcasts. Gosh, I'd have the (IWU) Argus office laughing at me in the same way for the hands waving in the air "arghhh, what are you doing, don't do that" comments i'd yell at the little box on the table, and then return to staring at it, with my elbows bent, leaning onto to the table, with my nose 10 inches from the speaker when the guys would be behind/losing. A few IWU fans e-mailed recently asking for the link to the ESPN piece from March.  Here it is...

Wow, 22 points in 24 minutes off the bench, shooting over 70%.  They gotta love that.  I wonder how long it will be until he's starting.

Heck, I wonder how long until he's an NBA all-star!

I looked over several Spanish-language web pages that mentioned Keelan Amelianovich and ran across one (http://www.encestando.com/) that lists him being an alum of the University of Illinois.

I assume once he's starting next week in Spain, those numbers will go up, attract an NBA team, say the San Antonio Spurs and he gets invited to camp, where he makes the team, plays well and appears in the Rookie-Sophomore game this February.

He won't be in the All-Star game this year, but he'll be around for the weekend.  I'm not that delusional.

I suspect the bigger issue is, once he's inducted into the basketball Hall of Fame, will it be in a Spurs, Spanish, or Titans jersey.

North Park's roster lacks beef.  Only one guy is listed above 215 lbs.  Even then, the numbers are probably padded just like Keith Willert being 6'.

I had hoped 6' 9" 250 lbs Chalkias would try the U.S. for a longer stint than just one year.  Jeremiah Sargent had some thickness, but he too didn't return for his sophomore year.

North Park better rely on many fast break points because I doubt they'll be able to consistently establish a low-post presence.  Oops, NP doesn't have an established PG to run the show.
