(F) Scott Peterson '96
(C) Steve Jeretina '05

This would seem to be about a pick 'em, but I'm going with Team Crabtree by 3.

Disturbingly, Steve Kuehl - my Class of 1993 mate - will be the oldest guy on the floor.

...and they enter the Shirk Center to the sound of John Cougar Mellenkamp sing "Glory Days".

Yes, it brings me way back to March of 2006.  Seems like just last year.  Ah, the good ole days.

I see on the scoreboard that Millikin beat Augie 73-60 - I assume that is an error (or incredibly bold prognosticating!) and the game has yet to be played?!

It's the score from the women's game: http://www.millikin.edu/athletics/headlines.asp?ID=21666

This sentence takes on an entirely different meaning if you forget that "go thunder" is a nom de keyboard and instead treat it as a question.

DIEHARDFAN: Go Thunder?
TITAN Q: No.
DIEHARDFAN is downtrodden
:D

I know. that is exactly my point. The way things are going at IWU right now it may be awhile and you will have to remember those days with fondness.

That would be weird, since it's a Bruce Springsteen song...

Hey tuvxxyz,
The fact that you do not know that Bruce Springtein sings "Glory Days" is a crying shame.  Here is an idea, they should run out to "Your an Idiot" by Go Kill Yourself...Douche.

The Bluejays squeaked by the Vikings, 83-80; Elmhurst led at the half 37-28.  According to the live stats on the Elmhurst website, Uriah rice hit a 3-pointer with 4 seconds left to pull North Park to within 1, but Brian Lee sank two free throws to put the game away.  Ruch led the Elmhurst scoring attack with 22, while Michael and Burks each added 18.  Capalo led the Vikes with 21 (5 treys), and Stevens and Gordon each chipped in 17.

Not a pretty game in Rock Island tonight; possibly the worst officiated game I've ever seen.  They called some very ticky-tack fouls, and then let maulings occur under the basket.  #42 on Millikin was borderline ridiculous tonight.  He was doing nothing but throwing body blocks and elbows out there, and miraculously none of them were called.  Wessels had another good game and Delp had a big first half.  Vikings were up 16 at the half and kind of just coasted through the rest of the game.  Two more games to go.
