could Wheaton be looking at a national championship? Look for me on the top of Carlson tower if so!

Mr. Ypsi

If anyone had any doubts at all, I think Raymond clinched first-team AA tonight.  Now the question is: does he have a shot at NPOY?

Mugsy

Boy do I wish he was coming back next year for his last year of eligibility.
Wheaton Football: CCIW Champs: 1950, 1953-1959, 1995, 2000, 2002-2004, 2006, 2008, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2019

FYI, Raymond's 47 points are the third-most in a single game in Wheaton history.  The two ahead of him were Norm Pott w/ 50 against Millikin in 1954, and Tom Dykstra w/ 48 against Carthage in 1970.
Wheaton Thunder soccer: '08 Women's Runners-up. '07 Women's Champions. '06 Women's Champions.  '06 Men's Runners-up. '04 Women's Champions.

And Raymond's legend grows... one more for Salem!!!

Does anyone else get the feeling KRay has taken it to another level....playing everygame as if its his last?? :)

Jim Matson

Congrats to the Raymond and the Thunder on a great performance tonight.

Now if we are looking for a "Bean-esque" type of post-season experience, Ohio Wesleyan will upset Hope tonight and fall just short against Wheaton for the sectional championship.  Stranger things have happened!

I would rather Wheaton play Ohio Wesleyan than Hope.  Teams that aren't familiar with Wheaton have had trouble playing and figuring them out this year.  Hope is familiar with Wheaton's tempo.  But as a fan it really doesn't matter.   I'm going to enjoy the ride no matter what happens.

Titan Q

How 'bout holding the scoring records in both IWU's Shirk Center and Hope's DeVos Fieldhouse?  What a performance by Superman.

Jim Matson

Bob, you and Pat did a fine job tonight.

Does Milsaps have any change against Wash U/BV?

Be careful what you wish for - Wheaton doesn't have a very good record against Wesleyans this year! ;D

Or maybe that's just an Illinois hex. ;)

I'm thinking of driving up to Hope for tomorrow nights game.  Anyone interested in car pooling from Wheaton?

Ohio Wesleyan is hanging there against Hope with 7 minute to go - 57-54.
