Q, very well said.  Let's hope and pray that somehow Kevin's family and friends will be able to find solace and peace.

Wishing everyone on CCIW Chat a safe and good summer.  I'm looking forward to being in Bloomington and on the IWU campus this summer for some weeks to see friends, classmates, and colleagues from IWU.  I've just been meeting some of the new Titans, incoming students coming this fall from China.  They are terrific kids.

Wishing everyone a good summer.

If you wish, I will acknowledge the delay, allow you to delete your post and mine, and then we can see how much longer this goes on!

Nah, I miss the most erudite, yet off-the-wall, off-season board on d3sports! ;)  I just can't think of a good starter topic - going straight to Spinoza with no provocation seems too contrived! ;D

Well, Spain beat Italy 4-2 on PKs today in EURO2008, but that discussion is occurring on the soccer boards.  ;)

Yeah, I commented on that in the appropriate locale.  I considered the Cubs/WS series, but I can't recall any Sox fans here, so that seemed kinda one-sided. ;)

Soccer? Really? We're going to break a one-week drought by posting European soccer scores? ::) Shame, shame, Ralph. :D

How about this, instead:

Resolved: It's Aramis Ramirez's world. We're just living in it. ;)

Actually, I know several CCIW Chat readers and posters who were undoubtedly none too happy with this weekend's crosstown series.

I'll stick with 1987 and 1991, thanks.

Or 1920-freakin'-4 for that matter. :)

I've confined all previous Tigers posts to MIAA (ranging from WTF is wrong to are they finally getting there), but thank you Cubbies for doing your part! ;D  Now, who is in gonna step up and slow down Pat's Twinkies? ;)

Guess I won't complain TOO much until Detroit can finally reach .500 and STILL can't gain ground. ::)

I still feel dirty every time that I cheer for Jim Edmonds, though.

Joe and Bosko in the same time zone again - OY !!!

The manager of the McDonald's across the street from North Park will be happy to see my brother again.

But, if I had to guess, the Joe/Bosko reunion will probably take place at Charcoal Delights.

MW - who was almost ticketed for honking his horn when Aramis hit his Friday walk-off homerun.  I thought Ron was going to lose it on the radio.
I am determined to be wise, but this was beyond me.

Congratulations Joe, and good luck at Millikin.
