Sac,

While looking under your name at the photo of Lloyd Carr and the caption beneath it, I was reminded of a tombstone that I saw in Tucson, Arizona's Boothill Cemetery.  It stated:

  "Here lies Les Moore,
    Shot with a .44.
    No Les,
    No More."

Finals

Ferris State 47 Alma 43..........thats final,  not halftime  :o

Hillsdale 77 Albion 74  OT.......impressive 22 point turnaround from 14 down to 8 up for Albion.  Tough loss.

If there were any questions about how Tony Gugino would have done vs D3 competion, his 26 points probably answers that.

MIAA now 8-11

To all the MIAA posters:

Wishing You Joys
Both Great and Small
And a Happy Thanksgiving
To you all!

Knight In The Stan

Congratulations to Calvin on last weekends wins as well as the other MIAA teams that got some W's. This is the first time that I have got to see the scores and to be honest I was a little nervous to check. Sounds like Calvin's big men came to play. Hopefully they can keep it up this weekend against Craperstone. Anyways Happy Thanksgiving from Iraq.

SKOT

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  Keep your friends and family in your thoughts and prayers! (good advice for every day of the year)

KII:  Keep your head down and your eye on D3hoops. We'll keep you posted.  :)

The MIAA is 1-4 this week, but it's actually been a good week for the conference so far. The four losses are all to D-II teams. The 10-point Olivet loss to Northwood was a good result, the OT loss by Albion to Hillsdale was a very good result, and the 4-point loss by Alma to Ferris St was a shockingly good result. Tri-State looks to be getting back on track.

Coming up: Albion has another chance to prove themselves in a tough game at John Carroll. Kazoo has yet another tough game against Defiance. Olivet has a tough game at Hanover, and Adrian is at Case Western. Calvin and Hope try to make it 2-0 against local NAIA rivals. A winning record for the conference in these games would be nice.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!

Happy Thanksgiving to all the posters. Family, turkey, a Lion's loss - all the things we can count on every Thanksgiving.

A story in the Press today about the HoF Classic. Says there anyone can win. I'm not so sure. I think you'd have to say Calvin is the favorite going in, especially since Hope has no games under its belt. I'm looking forward to reconnecting with fellow posters on Saturday, and hopefully meeting some new ones. For the record, I'll be wearing a Hope hoodie and an orange ballcap that says Mistwood Gof Course on it. CCM, OK, GK - looking forward to meeting you all. Sac, FDF, CM, PL and others - hope to see you there.
