I like my theory that the refs in FL are biased against all things Michigan better but if you all insist we can just go with the theory they call a tighter game down south and Hope is playing some very aggressive defense.

Well that goes down as a very good in-region win for Hope. After the exam break you could tell that Hope was rusty. I can't remember the last time I saw Hope shoot something like 3 of 19 from beyond the arc! I certainly expect that Hope will need a better shooting performance from beyond the arc tomorrow to come out with a win.

Tonight's shooting performance from beyond the arc makes today's Holland Sentinel article all the more entertaining though.

Here's a couple interesting positives to take away from the game.

2 of Roanoke's leading scorers Peery and LaPorte were held to 6 and 2 points respectively.  Probably right to assume Hope took the hack a big man approach.

Hope's starting front line of Reimink, VanderHeide and Klein played a grand total of 43 minutes.   All of this while the starting gaurds went for zero first half points, the 3 best 3 point shooters went 1-13.

....and they still won.

Bowser comes up with 11, Klein 11, Wolfe 10 all in the second.  I think Hope had some great minutes from the bench tonight.

Hey, if FDF and Civic can spark a 12-1 run by getting a T, get 'em a megaphone!

To clarrify, it wasn't necessarily them or other posters, my chastising them was more of a joke to them.
