Maybe he should have gone with black and white stripes to match the content?  ;)

I love the new look, Pat.  Easier for me to read and sort through.  Hope it stays!

Let me finish my previous post... It seems as if the hometeam gets some questionable calls their way.  I'm not just saying at Hope gets the calls, but at Albion, Olivet, Calvin, etc.

Or, of course, for whoever K plays, home or away. :'( :'( :'(

Awesome! I love a good officiating conspiracy theory. ::)

As much as it pains me Stinger +K for making me laugh... How ridiculous! :P

The key for Hope this week (basically Saturday as the Alma game shouldn't be close) is...

I think he's a character from Wallace and Grommet.

I'll bite...

Kind of cute, but not even in the same ballpark. I hardly think Hope is looking past Alma, but is probably gearing up for Saturday.

BW while not considered to be in Hope's "league" in '95 still made the tournament, so they were at least in the top 100 teams and not a miraculous win. Alma this year, maybe wins one more, and it should not be to Hope.

Most of my thoughts from Sat have been covered, but with it being the only game I've seen this year (possibly only one I will?  :(), I was on the one hand unimpressed with Hope and on the other hand quite pleased.

It certainly wasn't what I was expecting to see after reading things here and listening to a few games on-line, but a lot of that has to go to Adrian playing hard all game.  And, as someone mentioned earlier, I think it does Hope well to win a solid, hard-fought game when you didn't play your best.  We've had trouble with that in recent years, esp come March (granted, Witt & WashU are a different level than Adrian), but I think the hard, close games will serve the Dutchmen well down the road, assuming they keep coming out on top!

Was good to be at a game again...thanks to those of you who said "Hi" while I was there.

this new look is really nice thanks pat for doing it

I agree, the Hope team is probably not looking past Alma (603), only our new friend HH1

SKOT

Someone help me out here...What changed on the site?  The board?  The main pages?  I can's spot the change!  I need to stop counting so many beans...

sac

Alma's Ryan DeHaan leads the MIAA with a 17.7 point average in league games.  He would become the 4th Alma Scot in 5 years to lead the league in scoring.

The lowest average point total to win the award since 1951 was Steve Brooks' 17.6 average in 2002.

The current scoring leaders

1.Ryan Dehaan-ALMAM........     ...............17.7
2.Brandon McClary-OLIVETM.. JR  ..........17.5
3.Ryan Gallus-ADRIANM...... SR    ...........15.8
4.Desmond Young-ADRIANM.... JR  ......  15.5
   Caleb Veldhouse-CALVINM.. JR  ..........15.5

The league seems to be lacking in the stud individual scorer category, at least at this point.
