Ray Kelser is the best because his brother played for MSU and the Pistons and is now a broadcaster.  I've always like Ray.

BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Give me some juice Yaz!

Supersweet Hall of Fame inductions

Kobe Bryant - anyone who can score 81 points in any game is awesome.  I heard Jared Owens once scored 77 during senior week.  That's also impressive.  He gets the nod, too.

Jalen Rose - 4 just bein plain Gangsta!  I miss him.  UM is not the same.  How did we go from G'd up to Tommy "the gun" Amaker?

Coach Glen VanWieren - for those sweet vests
and that  baseball coach whose how wife worked in admissions when I was in high school - she was nice.  You all know what I'm talking about.  Is she still around?

Coach Mike Turner - for the crumpled scouting report that he gives to the crowd after a win.  A cherished item.

SUPERSWEEEEEEET!

Kobe's 81 is nothing. Rickmon Logan is averaging 652 points per game. http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=darcy/060120

We desparately need some games to talk about. Can't wait until tomorrow night.

Adam and Jake (I know you are reading the board right now), do you think Carol would be flattered by joining the Super Sweetness Hall of Fame or furious that I would post a link/picture of her?

KresgeKrazy,

You released our inductees a little early, and your forgot some.

Best Hair in the MIAA- Guy working the scorers table at Kresge. That full shag and beard combo can't be beat. Very similar to the look Jake Plummer was sporting for his four turnover performance. I believe he is a current student or he just graduated at semester. He must have been on the "Tom Callahan" plan in that he has been around for just a shade under a decade.

To be released on ESPN NEWS later today at 4:30, the SuperSweetness Hall of Fame will be presenting Coach Kohtala with the Ghandi trohpy. No other Coach in the league keeps his composure like Coach Kohtala. The man will sit in his chair with his legs crossed, stand up in front of the box with his arms crossed all while his team is getting run on up and down the court. Could you imagine Coach Haklin under the same circumstances.

Adam and Jake probably love this, haha. I think Mama Fritz would be fine with being an inductee, but wouldn't really care to have her pic posted. She's a good looking gal and all, but she likes to keep things simple I think.

Conversation really is getting stale, we need some basketball soon.  Anyone else going to the Tri-State/Hope game tomorrow night?  I plan on being there.  Looks like Tri-State might put up a nice fight for a little while, more so than Olivet did earlier this year.

FDF and I will be there.  I'll admit this one has me a little nervous.  Not having seen the "new and improved" Tri-State, and hearing about surprise victories and equally surprising close calls, I'll be holding my breath for the first few minutes...
(and then yelling at the refs the next several, but I'll throw in a compliment now and again to see if it helps)!   ;D

Here's to trusting that Hope's ready to play tomorrow night!

I was hoping to complete my tour of the MIAA and go to Tri-State tommorrow but I was given a generous gift of a ticket to the UM/MSU game tommorrow night so hopfully I'll be in Crisler.  It will be a nice get away for my brother and I.

Andersdy--I never minded Ernie or Tom Hoffman, the only thing that bothered me about Ernie, and many others was his propensity to become the center of attention late in games.   Always seemed to make an effort to be dramatic.

and yes, Tom Hoffman was an official in the Big Ten for football as is Todd Geerlings.  I don't know about the interference stuff.

The Great Lakes guy on Hoopsville was very high on Calvin tonight.  It actually didn't sound like he'd seen them play.  At one point he mentioned they had enough to make a run in the NCAA's if they got there.

Has anybody else seen this in the Knights?
Don't get caught watching the paint dry.

Well they don't have the depth like last year, but they have right coaching, and if their two senior shooters, Draayer and Trewella get hot, and the freshmen all bring some young energy, you never know.  They just want to get there first though.
