ES:  I did not intend to confuse anyone.  Sadly the typical part of the Calvin team you saw on Sat. was the lack of a physical game.  Wolfe had a great game for Hope, but never went to the charity stripe.  Why does Calvin let that happen?  It seems to me someone from Calvin could have at least (one time) bumped him, slapped him or somehow fouled him.  That to me is timid.  I don't mean hurt Mr. Wolfe, but just let him know he doesn't own the court.  Calvin lacks the intestional fortitude to beat the teams (like Albion) that it should beat at home.  Albion beat a timid Calvin team on Calvin's floor.  Hope should have blown out a timid Calvin team on Calvin's floor.  All this leads me to conclude that last Sat. was not Hope's best performance ytd. :)
At least Hope's players were aggressive enough to get called for fouling  Veldhouse on 3 pt. shots.

Wow, Mat Kellogg has 21 of Kzoo's 32 first half points.  Young and Cardenas combined for 32 of Adrian's 40 points

Wow, Tyler Wolfe is just a monster the last 2 halves of basketball he has played!!!

Great to see Ty hit three 3s in a row as well. Keep it up Hope!

Calvin appears to be in a fight at home with Olivet too.

I was unable to listen to the first half and only got to watch livestats the first 5 minutes. Did we see Bowser or Kratz on the floor at all? They aren't on the livestats but the way it works the names come off if the player goes off the board once they leave the floor unless they build up some stats.

Sharples was the first off the bench interesting enough, Carter played the most due to DVS getting his 2nd foul early, and obviously Tanis.  Bowser, Osburn also saw minutes.  All in all it sounded like the bench played well...........no 5 for 5 subbing.

Alma has nearly erased a 10 point deficit in 1:52 and trails Albion by 1 with seconds to go.

UPDATE  Alma ties it, and they're going to OT.  Albion goes 2-4 from the stripe trying to seal it.

Albion 68 Alma 68

WOW!!!
Alma hits a shot with less than 5 seconds left to send the game to OT! I would call this the upset of the year!

More amazing is both Wolfe and Tanis are 5-6!  That's 83%!

Calvin gets an important 80-70 win over Olivet. The game really was closer until the final 30 seconds or so. Any win is important but I expected we would have seen a very impressive effort from Calvin tonight in the sense of a 20 point win. I guess not.

UPDATE: 75-73 Brits. 1:00 left.
