Yeah. Seems we have some particularly immature Calvin fans. I've been known to take karma privileges away from kids like that.

Mr. Ypsi

'tis a grand night to be a Michigander!

Tigers sweep the Yanks in New York for the first time in 42 years.  After a 2-10 start, they are now 12-5 - my WS hopes are still in full swing.

Wings sweep the Avs in a total laugher (8-2).

Pistons take 3 straight after bumbling to a 1-2 start against Philly.

Flying Dutch Fan

Just saw in the Holland Sentinel that Ronald Coleman (former UofM player and team captain) will be playing for the Holland Blast (IBL).

Also expect to see Stephen Cramer joining the Blast in the next few weeks, after returning from a very successful first season with the Weiden Cocoon Baskets.  Cramer lead the league in scoring at 32.2 points per game.

I suppose you are able to tell who plussed or minused karma based on being webmaster?  And I ask that because it makes sense that you can.  Just to give negative karma because one is a Hope fan is silly.  Its tough enough being a Hope fan.   ;D

A.  I really can't believe that at no time in my lifetime, the Tigers had not swept a series in New York once.  That was a little baffling to me.

B.  I really can't believe its already the last Detroit/NewYork game in Yankee Stadium (except maybe playoffs).  For crying out loud Ty Cobb would have played in the first trip there.

C.  I happened to be traveling through Denver the night Detroit beat the Avs 7-2 or something in 2002.  Great night to be an annonymous Wing fan in the hotel bar.........though not so annonymous later.

I spent way more time than I'd like to admit trying to figure out what the heck you were talking about.  Now I remember, Go Tigers!

LOL.  Not tough at all, especially during the last several Hope/Calvin games, but it is tough not having a master plan.   ;D   Smiting is not nearly as anonymous as you might think.

Sure you can have your fun now, but the high tide of Calvin will be back.  Probably next year.

Is there some feature I don't know about?

Well, if someone keeps very close tabs on their karma and the list of names at the top of the page that lists who is reading the page, they could put two and two together.

I suppose that's a possibility.  But, that could probably lead to some incorrect assumptions.

The Macomb Daily newspaper reported yesterday that Nate King from Utica Ford will be continuing his basketball career at Hope College next year.  The article says that he has a 3.9 GPA and will be receiving an academic scholarship.  He is a three year varsity player that averaged 17 point per game and 7 rebounds last season.  He was named to Academic All-State team by the Basketball Coaches Association of Michigan

Nate King 6-3 F Utica Ford---Hope  (I'm going with F, since he wore #55)

A quick and brief search has him on the Detroit Free Press's all-metro East second team.  Other than that not alot of info, I'll try later.

Just try convincing google your not looking for Nat King. :D

Also congrats to Trine University for winning ther first ever MIAA Championship by winning a share of the Softball title up in Alma.

I believe this will also be Trine's first athletic team to compete in an NCAA tournament.
