Will Evan Hare be running track and field this spring?

He's not on the pre-season roster and I haven't heard anything about it before... what would he do? Throw?

SAC, my belated condolences for your loss.

Have not read any posts since before last saturday's games. Whew. Took me a while to get through them.

As already mentioned, this week is huge for K. Playing 3 of the last 4 games against 2 of the top teams in the nation plus Calvin (on the verge of a top 25 ranking) will do one of two things: break your spirit completely or season you for better basketball down the road. Tonight's game should let us know how the Hornets handle two straight spankings by admittedly better teams. Knowing this squad a little, I see them taking some frustrations out on the Bulldogs. Although, maybe I am just hoping thats what they do...

Nate,

Are you surprised to see Adrian at 1-7 in the league? ;)

I head the Krazys got a little creative for the Adrian game last week after halftime with some newspapers.

Speaking of Adrian,

I had to fly into Philly for a business meeting this morning. On my drive to the meeting in the rental car, I saw a great spectacle. Some guy in old beat up grey sweatpants and a beat up grey sweatshirt was running down the street. He must have stolen some kids lunch money, because about 75-100 kids were running after him. Only in Philly.

Well played, Mr. Yastrzemski, well played.  The Krazys did in fact bust out some newspapers in the second half.  I was shocked.  I can't think of the last time I saw an Albion student that could read. ;D

Mmmm...Pretty Pictures.  Plus, if you're lucky enough to have some silly putty you can copy the pictures onto the putty! What do they put in it to make it so silly?

Final from Alma

Calvin 82
Alma 67

The Knights led by 20 in the first half and as much as 19 in the second before the Scots made a plucky run to get within single digits briefly in the last five minutes of the game.
Calvin didn't get much from the perimeter tonight, and faltered at the charity stripe late in the game, but Snoeyink was strong in his first game back from a badly sprained ankle.  He knocked in 10 points, and Draayer and Meckes led the Knights with 16 each.  Trewhella ended with 13 and Caleb Veldhouse with 9.
