What I like is the balanced scoring. 9,9,9,8,7 For Hope's top 5 so far

Personally I like the 22 point lead, which means Hope has now led every MIAA opponent by 20 at least once.

.....your right though the balance is phenomenal

Hope 64 Albion 43

64-35 since Albion led 8-0? wow

How has Crawford only gotten one shot in the last 12 minutes or so?
There's only two things I hate in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures and the Dutch.

An impressive Hope victory about to be concluded. I missed the beginning of the game and according to the LiveStats online the * denoting starters is in front of Carlson and not Cramer. Anyone know if that is correct and the reason for the change?

Never mind, I now realize the * denotes who is in the game and not who started. My bad.

Thats a million dollar question....maybe someone at the game can fill us in.

Its over

Hope returns the favor  HOPE 74 Albion 55

Hope outscored the Brits 24-3 over a 9 minute stretch from 11:40 to 2:40

Phillips 12, Carlson 11,  Voisin 11, VanderHeide 9, Cramer 9, Immink 9....all in the last minutes.

Crawford 22 and 9 rbs

Way to go Dutchmen!

...any other finals out there?

Hope wins 74-55.  A 19 point win after the 18 point Albion win.  Who would have thought that these two games would end with such blowout scores.   :o  Especially at home after the road victories over the last few years.

A couple quick notes, those that mentioned that Richardson would be huge, you were right.  Crawford was playing great at the start and Albion led 8-0.  Richardson comes in at some point in there and things begin to even out.  I think he really was the anchor that got the team back together and allowed them to begin to play together.  Without him in the first game, 8-0 (or so) quickly got out of hand.  This time, his presence was important.

Secondly, the tipping point, without a doubt came at the 8:14 to 7:00 minute remaining mark.  Carlson hit a three that made it a nine point game.  It was followed up by Immink's first basket of the game, an and-one layup.  And then Voison made a steal on Crawford (that will show up as Carlson's steal) and a second bucket by Immink.  Up until that point, Hope would stretch the lead and Albion would get it back down to one or two possessions.  But when the lead went from 6 to 14 in a minute-fourteen seconds, Albion was done.

Great game to listen to.  Another exciting one on Wednesday and then there should be some great MIAA tournament games.
