I got an email this morning from someone who took a lot of time and thoughts to address me, I only hope that person has taken the same time to address others.

I only spoke up a few days about the smart remarks because I had received 2 pm's and 2 emails from people expressing their displeasure with this board.  Maybe they thought I could help, I'm not sure.  I really don't care what people post, but when people start telling me they aren't going to tune in anymore its time to speak up, so I did.  Why?  Because I knew no one else would, because no one else has before.......and I got fried for it.

You all have a choice of what kind of board to make this, take that into consideration each time you post.  I find there are alot of very astute, funny people on this board, you really have no idea how much this makes me laugh.  But mocking posts and individuals is a short term idea not long term.  Just keep that in mind.

Enjoy your games today.

I'd be glad to bring the Hope/Calvin lack of in-region non-conference games topic back to the table.  That seems to unite the MIAA world very nicely!  Just let me know.   :)

Good post sac!  Like I said before I don't post much, I just read.  This board is very informative and entertaining.  I read it because I enjoy it.  I too hope that posters do not ruin the fun.  I read a lot of boards and there are none that are as healthy as this one.  Let's keep that way!

Knightmare

It probably will not be well received, especially due to my lower post total and infrequent posts, but I read EVERYTHING on this board as the only way to keep in touch with the MIAA after having moved away since graduating from college.

Anyways, it seems that there are way to many people that put far to much importance on how much "karma" they have or don't have.  Does everyone not know that all the karma does is represent some arbitrary rating system for a message board.  It does not show the value of your posts, insights or contributions of knowledge to the board and most importantly does not signify your personal self-worth outside of this message board.

Just something for everyone to think about and hopefully not worry about as much as they do.  Myself, I'm sure I'll take a few hits for this post but as I've shared I don't really care or put any value or significance on my karma ratings or other peoples, whether they are -1,000 or +1,000, and in no way does it diminish my ability to read and enjoy this board, I've got other more important things to worry about in life.

Now on to the 2nd half of the conference season, its shaping up to be a dogfight.

DK:  Hard to claim TRISH did better in the pickem than anyone.   :)  Neither TRISH nor DK are shown as having made picks. ???

realist, if you read Dark Knight's post carefully, you will see that he made no such claim.
Perhaps, technically if one splits hairs you might be right, but a statement: "Trish did better than some other unnamed troll "...... :)   really begs the questions. TRISH did what better, and where did TRISH do it better? ;)

Caleb V. is dressed, but will not start so that should end the question regarding his injury as he is expected to play today.
Sytsma is the one I believe he said is out for the year. Schnyders apparently has resolved his difficulty, and may be back shortly.

All kinds of problems with MIAA live stats this p.m.   :)  For example. :  The Saint Mary women are playing Trine, and Hope at the same time on the women's, and the men's board.   :)

Been away for some time and unable to post.  Trying to get Calvin score on miaa.org but not having any luck.  If someone could take a break from the whining and post a score from time to time, it might be nice.  I know, I know, the beat goes on.  Just some scores, please. :)

Try going to www.calvin,edu and go to athletics from there.  Should show as listen, and live stats.  Just double checked, and the stats aren't right.

50-50  Tried www.trine.edu to get stats, and that didn't work either.
