Maybe Hope does give FAR LESS acedemic schlorships,  but they give FAR MORE "Christian Leadership" ones. Shocking I know.

Shareef, please send me any info (and a possible application) on this christian leadership scholarship that you are talking about. As a student here at Hope, I have never heard of this scholarship and would like a chance to apply.

If you can't do any of this, then please, please don't say that Hope gives them out to athletes, because that's bogus.  :P

Someonethat might help Albion is Mark Werley. He is the assstant coach at Zeeland West. He was Travis DePree's HS coach at Holland

Mark Werley? You mean the Hope graduate? The one that has a daughter here? The guy who's other kid has already been accepted? Yeah, he'd probably help Albion out.  ;)

Kingshott can get by in the post because of his reach -- 81 inches -- and jumping -- 26-inch standing vertical. He's probably an inch shorter than Brandon Crawford.

Haven't heard that he's interested in playing football. If that was the case, that Cornerstone was the other finalist would seem odd.

Re. Werley and Hope, remember a few years ago when he was still coaching Holland and Travis was at Albion, listening to Hope/Albion game on the radio. Werley was interviewed at halftime, introduced as the coach of "The other Flying Dutchmen."

Mark: Um, we're just the Dutch, actually.

Pt. of comparison re. the reach ... Dan Perkins, 6-9 from Lansing Christian, going to Aquinas next year, has an 80-inch reach.

Shareef23 - No wonder your karma is -5 with comments like the one on scholarships.  Earl would not be very proud of you.  You better start watching "My Name is Earl" so you can understand the importance of karma.

Me thinks KVS had a little talk with his troops during half time, and explained the urgency of this situation.
