Could Adrian repeat what they did to Hope in 2004?

We shall see...

Not w/o help again from W. Whitfield....  (shudder).  Wait, someone check the reffing schedule! :P

Of course they could, but I don't think they will.  Hope plays, Hope wins!!!

So will we witness that it's not hard to beat a team 3 times in the same year?
How about Calvin, are we going to see Dr. Jekyll or Mr. Hyde?
Will we see more OT games?
And what's the over/under for technical fouls tonight?  The Vegas line says 3   ::)

I think Hope wins as well.

As for Calvin, history says they beat Albion if going by how well Calvin plays in semi-final games in the MIAA tourney, and they really seem to have Albion's number come tournament time.  Although if Calvin has a first half like they did Wednesday, Albion will win.

Speaking of the Vegas line, they came out with odds to win the conference tourney:

Hope: Even
Calvin: 3-1
Albion: 9-1
Adrian: 13-1

Calvin has held J.C. Cruse to a combined 1-14 in their previous 2 games.  He's scored 6 points in those 2 games.  If Calvin does that again tonight I like their chances.

For Cruse vs. Calvin this year. 1 of 14 shots made, and 4 of 14 shots blocked. :) I like those numbers.

If that continues tonight, the Knights should win a third time against the Brits.

Yes, but I heard KVS on the Trine post game radio show this week mention how hard it is to beat a team 3 times in a season.  I had to chuckle when I heard him say that.

Well, when you think about it, it is really hard to do. I mean, first of all, you have to get them on the schedule three times in the first place. How many teams even play each other three times in a season? :)

Well, if you're Hope or Calvin, there's always the chance you'll see each other 5 times!   :o   ::)

I suspect that that was Pat's point, Erm. ;)

Fortunately, Calvin only has to beat Albion once. :)

Yes. :-\

Have to say, after seeing Albion almost pull it out at Albion in the last game of the regular season, I'm nervous about this one tonight........

On a completely different subject (and one that may have already been addressed) I just realized, Calvin did not have one Player of the Week in the MIAA all season....somewhat disappointing especially with some of the performances by Tommy and Schuster..granted that could change depending on if they keep winning....

I don't think anyone can say anything when the crew of Cryer, Creek & __________ benefited your cause many times.  (Hope 42 Ft's at Adrian to Adrian's 2 Ft's and many more times like this to many opponents).  Hell Cryer was on the Hope website and honored at a Hope game after the DeVos was opened.

I resent any discrediting of the 04 Bulldogs win over Hope.  Adrian led most all of the game and  had a huge game from Billy Collins, Brian Schafer, Jeff Nokovich, and Mike Lewis.  To say it was Whitfield that lost Hope the game and not Adrian winning it is a joke.  This is exactly why it was so much fun to be a Bulldog that night.

Interesting stat in Calvin/Albion game.  In first half both teams had a combined 0-17 from beyond the arc.
