Reasonable worries John. I won't ever pick against our coach, who has the ability to walk on water. I would have thought after the Van Andel dabacle that Calvin would stuggle to be .500. A week is an awful long time for KVS. I'm sure he'll have the troops ready to play.
"I started to look around at the fans and the team and I was sitting in the back, and I looked around and everybody was having a good time and that day, it truly made me realize what Michigan was about. It took me down, it humbled me. It taught me how to be a Michigan man instead of Jason Avant."

There are many who have karma, who do not share their karma.  ;)

Its takes much for me to go negative on someone, I don't know who does it.  I think we have a karma phantom. :o

Its often not who you think   ........(cough, <webmaster> cough) ;D

I noticed al jr has passed me for the lead for ticking off Hope fans ie negative Karma. Does anyone else think some people should get some thicker skin. The only people on here with negative Karma are Calvin fans. hmmmmm

I was in the negative dude... Until I came up w/ WWKVSD? That scored me some Karma...  ;)

I'd have to agree... There are lots of lurkers who are neither Calvin or Hope fans. They can yield the same power if they think your post was un-righteous. Chin up bro... As soon as I can I'll spread the wealth. I think everyone should have positive Karma... Even John R!  ;D ;D

Hey, who said I was complaining. I'll look at it as an honor. So who wants to talk about DVS?

Just noticed this from the Hope site......

The public sale of tickets at Hope College will begin at 10 a.m. Friday at the DeVos Fieldhouse

Tickets are $8 for reserved, $6 general admission and $4 for students.

.....this is of course if there are any left after the faculty, and season ticket holders.  But again I'm sure Lax and WLC will return a lot of tickets.

NW - If a certain school's fans get too unbearable, just start a rumor that Caleb Velthouse has been having coffee with an unnamed someone who's initials are - Bryan Foltice.   ;)

That's good for about 20 points of blood pressure and probably explains some of the righteous protests about Hope's transfer players.

Shareef23

Ya, I guess it's kind of hard to complain when you have two ex-D1s backing up Greg Immink at the point.

Quoterighteous protests

I am pretty sick about hearing of the high horse. That's more worn out than the transfer discussion. You know that's a load and has nothing to do with it. The pot shots get old. I believe that as Christians were suppose to try and be righteous in the first place.

I will be interested to see Hope's cheerleading squad perform again on Sat. I love them!!!
What a guy!
So now Hope fans admit that Calvin fans are more knowledgeable about the sport of basketball.
And how is that? How is anything he wrote have to do with basketball. Just some nerd reading through the finer points of NCAA rules. Rules that only obnoxious NCAA officials care about.

The best part about it is how much it seems to get your orange and blue panties in a bundle.  I found that little nugget of rule info because someone else referenced something in the handbook that was on an adjacent page.  It is true that I find cheerleading to be utterly pointless and the day Calvin puts a squad on the floor would be a sad day in my mind.  I'm not trying to start any great debate, just pointing out the explicitly stated rules.  On to the next one, who is the 16th man and gets left off of Hope's tournament squad?

ps NWHopeFan, Very creative use of quatation.  You get an extra tip next time you deliver my pizza.
