Tniem;  My intent when I posted that was to pay a compliment.  You did present a well reasoned answer regarding the size of the De Vos.  I gave you a karma for giving me the benefit of the doubt.  I have family members that have attended Hope, and they are upstanding, well educated citizens.
Dchn: It was a compliment!  You get a smite! Ditto on the beltline, but you should have seen it in the old days when Knollcrest fieldhouse had just opened.  Does two trail cowpath ring any bells?  28th st. before the malls etc. etc. etc. when the Holland civic center was new?

The Holland Civic Center was new once?  ???

Dren---looks like the name Flying Dutchmen is associated with some pretty ..........ummmm fun stuff.  8)

I can't beleive no one can tell me what that ladder is for, come on someone has to know.

Sac:  Some of us like to start rumors, and The Holland Civic Center being new once is about as good as it gets.
My theory on the ladder is: it was left there to facilitate hanging a certain coach in effigy if he doesn't get a banner before he goes emeritus.  However, in the spirit of peace and good will I remember Effigy is a small town in Ohio,  The coach should avoid Ohio.

Realist, I know.  I had hoped that with the icon, you would know that I was just joking.  Which I am pretty sure you did...

In response to DC Nut, I grew up only a few miles from the Beltline and Calvin College.   Couldn't have avoided it if I wanted too.  And realist is right, lots of great things happening in the area.  Even that place across the street from Woodland can be used for shopping again (can't ever remember its new name).

players from the teams only get 2 tickets

Maybe they're just telling you that - and giving the tickets to someone is really fun - not just named that    :D :D

The ladder is there in preparation for securing any ceiling tiles that may come loose.

Maybe its time to throw around some predictions.

LaCrosse 74 Calvin 71......great game
Hope 71 Wisc-Lutheran 58

..........and by tommorrow night someone will be able to tell me what the ladder is for.........please?

Prediction

Calvin over LaC by 4.  Calvin wins the close ones.

In the nightcap.

Hope over WLC by 22.  Don't be surprised if this one goes triple digits.

There will be some general admission and a very few reserved seats going on sale tomorrow at 10:00.  If you want them, you will need to be there early.  Today people started lining up at 6:30 am.

Sac,

Way to support the Knights with your prediction. Your true colors show thru once again. I realize it is wishful thinking on your part, but it will be Hope-Calvin 4 on Saturday night!!!

GoKnights68

Good job knightmoves.  With that remark, we have another Knight fan with negative karma!  Keep it up, boys.

Why in the world would I give a rip about Karma??? If that means not speaking from my heart, then you can stuff all your Karmas in a Sac mister
(you need to have seen Seinfeld for that statement to make any sense)

I see Hope-Calvin IV looming on the horizon.  Unfortunately for Calvin fans, if it does happen, Hope is unbeaten at DeVos, and has thoroughly dominated the Knights in 2 of the 3 games this year.  Hope gets two wins this weekend, at least that's how I'm seeing it.
