The good people of Northern Kentucky have figured out this video internet thing  http://livestats.prestosports.com/thomasmore/mbkb/?e=gkoxntqcc5e0cam0

Although video seems not to be listed at the link above, or on the Hope athletics site, it looks like video will be available at: http://livestats.prestosports.com/thomasmore/

From my experience many sites do not activate there streaming feed until just about game time.  Some sites will shut off at half time, or put the feed on pause.  My non technical opinion is that video streaming bleeds resources away from other campus users, and they try to minimize disruptions to the greatest number of users possible.  Shouldn't be a problem during Christmas break, but perhaps the "geeks" went south.  Not all feedsites like all browsers so you may need to switch to connect.

DePauw 81  Kalamazoo 80  2OT

A lot of evidence is starting to accumulate that says the Hornets are a little more than a threat  to make the MIAA Tournament.

Mark Ghafari missed a shot with 2 seconds remaining to win it.  DePauw hit a 3 to tie it at the end of regulation.

Little Chad Carlson sure can play...I'm a big fan.

Hope 75  Centre 68

Pretty good basketball game and a nice win for Hope.  Big defensive contributions from Chad Carlson, Brock Benson and nice stint from Cody Stuive helped turn the game in Hope's favor.  2 big triples from Carlson at a crucial point of the game really swung the momentum.

Very interesting strategy game with different defenses, match-ups, pressure vs no pressure.  Fun to watch, wish I was down there because I have some questions.

Thought NVA also had a very solid game, 8 pts, 10 rebs, a couple of assists.  Credited him with 2 blocks but looked like he had a couple more and altered a bunch too.  Still was hit with a couple of phantom foul calls but didn't impact minutes much.  When he's that active, they are a much better team.

The two threes by Carlson when the game had been tied were huge!

Marietta 76   Albion  73

Great comeback by Albion, at one point down 23.  However, this adds to the growing list of really tough last minute losses by the Britons.  I think this is the third or fourth loss decided on the final couple possessions.  Tonight a missed ft down 2 with 3 seconds left that could have led to a tie.

BV and Alma traded 3 pointers in the final 10 seconds.

KzooHornet

A tough loss for the Hornets today after battling DePauw for 50 minutes.  K led by 4 late in regulation but a 3 with little time left tied it up for the Tigers.  The tables turned in the fist OT as Adam Peters tied it up for K with a late jumper.  As Sac pointed out, leading scorer Mark Ghafari had a shot at the end to win, but couldn't hit it.  After years of just being glad to have live stats, I have to say that it stinks to not have video for games like these.

I am really excited to see what the MIAA season will bring and like to see Sac recognizing the Hornets as a contender for the top 4.  It has been a while since anyone outside of the Hornet faithful has uttered those words.  Every game is big, but the first three this year will be huge for K.  Albion at home, and on the road at Olivet and Trine.

Another amazing day for Hornet Senior Mark Ghafari.  The live stats stopped keeping scoring totals part way through the overtimes, but he ended the day with 38 point, including 23 of 24 from the foul line (both K College records).  My guess is he will continue to flirt with the K record for points in a single game, which I believe is 44.

Is that Tyler Kruis in street clothes? Kind of looks like him in the video of the time-outs, but I can't tell for sure.

Looks that way, Dan Stout got the start.

When they announced Dan starting, I wasn't surprised because he's not only from CA, but I think he's from this part of California. I am surprised to see Kruis in street clothes. Anyone have any information about this?

That's him.  Don't know the story.  May set a new all time low score at this pace, even though Calvin is leading.

Kruis doesn't look to be injured.  Maybe he is having a reaction to the In-N-Out burger.
